“Lockdown” Guild

Looking for a guild? Read this wall of text before you look any further, it might just interest you.

Are you a returning player, who have been busy with RL, kids, wife/husband, got sick of the game at one point and wanted nothing to do with it, but are starting to feel the need for your WoW doze? Or are you an active player looking for a place to kick back, relax, do some keys, discord banters, lame memes and eventually start to raid with the end goal killing bosses in mythic? Our final destination is to get CE, but I will get back to this. Just emphasize on the word eventually for a minute, it will all be explained.



And who might we be, you may be asking yourself.

We are Lockdown, a horde guild created on Twisting Nether back in 2020 during the pandemic, hence the name. It was very fitting at the time. This was a stormy time for poor Lockdown, with highs and lows, and many, many lessons learned, on what works, and what does absolutely not work. And we learned, and are now back with new motivation, and a desire for our Lockdown to succeed. What have we learned you may think. I`m not going to bore you with small details, but the biggest lesson of all is, do NOT stress recruit to fill up a roster so we can start raiding ASAP, but emphasize more on personality, over past experience solely. This does not imply that experience, or skill don`t apply

This brings me over to the word that I asked you to emphasize, and the key word in all of this: “eventually”

This is a post for recruiting officers, and once we got the officers in place, we will start to slowly recruit players, that will fit into the guild, and we do not base this on pure past experience. We will emphasize on how you are as a player, as well as how you are as a person.

As mentioned, we are looking for two more officers. We are 3 now but need one who can fill the role as a RL when that time comes, and someone who can help out with recruitment.

Once that is in order, we will start the recruitment for the rest of the guild, and again, slowly build that raiding roster. Our final goal is to be a CE guild, but we know from past experiences that the road to achieve that is long. We will start with having curve as a goal in the first tier, and then work our way to be a CE guild from that.

As an early joiner, you will be able to have the opportunity to play whatever class/spec you want, and you will be able to have an influence on raid days/times when we get to that point.

Ok, I know this is a huge chance to take, but if you are willing, the rewards may be great when we reach the goal we have set, and it`s a great opportunity to be a part of something that starts from the absolute scratch.
