Guild Raiding Setup
Currently the guild offers two separate competitive raid teams (Cutthroats and Brigands) as well as a casual raiding environment (Marauders). The first competitive team, the Cutthroat raiders, are pushing for Cutting Edge.
This page is for our second competitive team, The Brigands.
Team Background
The Brigands raid team was established towards the start of Shadowlands when in-guild demand for mythic raiding was too much for just one mythic team. As such we decided to make a second 'competitive raid team' whose focus is to clear as much of the mythic raid tier as possible on a 2-day raiding schedule. Ultimately there is no expectation for the Brigands raid team to achieve Cutting Edge in its first raid tier but as a competitive raid team they are expected to push as far into the tier as possible before the end of the tier with players taking it upon themselves to do the best of their ability in the process.
Guild Background
HRP have been around since the start of TBC and over the years we have built up a strong community of players who enjoy all aspects of the game, with a keen focus on raiding in particular. We're a mature guild in the sense that our players are all adults with lives outside the game, and that's about as far as the 'mature' label goes!
Mostly dormant between the end of WotLK until Legion release, we began raiding mythic in Nighthold and ever since Antorus we have been 1 or 2 bosses from Cutting Edge, with a break from raiding towards the end of BFA (during Nyalotha).
What We're Looking For
The team is well on its way in mythic, but would greatly benefit from the addition of a few more DPS to round-out the roster.
The team currently has all the mandatory buffs required for raiding and at least one of every class in the team meaning we are very flexible what DPS classes apply to join.
Players interested in applying for the Brigands should be committed to a 2-day raiding schedule with reliable attendance and are expected to show up to raids fully gemmed/enchanted with a progression mindset (researched and ready to progress).
Reliable attendance is a must for any mythic raiding team and as such players are expected to be there most of the time. However, we are all human with responsibilities outside of the game and if someone needs to miss a raid then communication and adequate notice is required.
Both competitive teams are made up of entirely separate players besides the raid leader - me. As such we are also recruiting a raid leader for the Brigands so I can have a night off from time-to-time!
