Greetings!

Twisted Ire is a casual raiding guild, and no, casual does not mean bad.

The following text will describe how the guild organizes itself and what we expect from tryouts, future and current raiders.

At first, banishing misconceptions about casual guilds:

We don't let just anyone raid, people have to be gemmed, enchanted, reforged, speced correctly. If you pass this stage you will be considered for a raid spot, also if you are a not such a great player, we will try and help you improve.

Wipping happens all the time, deal with it, being able to deal with wipping is a requirement to join the raid team.

Casual guild, means less raid time. This equals less progress, not because we are casual but because we don't spend as much time as the top ten guilds, the speed of progress however, should be equal in terms of total raid hours.

Just because we are casual players that does not mean we do not try our best. And we expect the same from everyone in the raid team.

Raid times:
18.00h - 20.30h(+30min extend) Wednesday - Thursday, with one extra raid with flexible time to be set with 24h to 48h notice on the website. (indicated hours are on GMT+1 / server time)
You are required to show up at least 15min to 20min before raid time starts.
You are required to sign up for raids on the website calendar, even if you are not joining that particular raid.
If you are gonna be late for a raid try to either inform us in-game or by using the forums.

Loot rules:
Loot council, lead by Pasibrzuch with vote from officers. (how loot council works is described bellow)
Higher ranking members will have loot priority over lower rankings.
Tryouts will not receive loot until they are approved raiders. (two raiding weeks trial)

How loot council works:

The way loot council works is really simple, a piece drops, if you need it you will post your current item and if it's for your Main spec or Off spec, officers will vote on who should get that piece taking several points into account such as:
Performance
Attendance
Average Item Level
Current Item Level
Tier Set Bonuses (if applicable)

Based on all that information and officers votes, the loot master (Pasibrzuch), will ultimately decide who gets the piece.

We expect from raiders:
To be eighteen years old or older.
To have knowledge of all the boss tactics, including heroic mode. (check tactics section on forums)
To re-spec their talents if needed.
Being willing to rotate, to sit out or even run with an alt to help group make up.
Class experience and knowledge.
Gems, enchants, reforge, food, flask and potions, appropriate professions. (big brother is watching)
Being able to handle and tolerate wipes.
Ventrilo access, and preferably a microphone.
Deadly boss mods, or Big Wigs addons.

We tolerate:
Connection issues (if too many, you will be sitting out)
Mistakes (replaced if too many)
Under geared players as spot fillers.

During the raid:
You are free to talk on Ventrilo during trash and while the raid is being set up. You may not however, talk on Ventrilo during a boss encounter unless it's critical information.
We expect you to warn us when and for how long when you have to go away from keyboard.
In between wipes you are free to ask for advice or report a problem you are currently experiencing, just do so with the express permission of the raid leader first, ask for it in the in game raid chat.
If you have an issue with either the raid, loot or anything else, do not address it during the raid either on Ventrilo or raid chat, we are more then happy to handle any issues after the raid time is over.

Raid team set up:
Players with high attendance will have raid spot priority.
Performance, if we are at a boss that requires 24k DPS from every single DPS then we need 24k DPS, no way around that. Same goes for healing. In short players with the highest performance will have raid spot priority.
Players showing up on time will have priority on raid spot.

Building casual raid guild is not easy, picking the right players for that raid is critical.
We don't get attached to players, and we distinguish players in three types:
Bad players, perform or get replaced.
Ambitious players, which are only raiding with casual guild to get loot and experience so they can move to another guild.
Time restrained players, lots of real life issues, they come and go often.
All these players might leave at a moments notice, or none at all.

We try to keep it relaxed and fun atmosphere, we are not pressing for world 1st.
