“illustrious” Guild

Illustrious is no longer raiding.

Illustrious is a two day raiding guild, which has historically progressed at a steady pace, and hopes to continue the trend into Shadowlands.

As we continue to develop we are looking to refine our existing roster; we are not looking for any particular role, only strong players.

Raid Schedule (Server Time)

Wednesday: 20:00 - 23:00
Sunday: 20:00 - 23:00

We also participate in community raids with the Lightbringer Coalition - an in-game community comprising many Alliance guilds on the server - later into a tier, on an opt-in basis.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven players who are always seeking to improve their own play, but don't want to raid four nights a week. Successful applicants will have compared favourably to those on our current roster.

What we expect from you:

Consistent attendance during progression; and for you let us know in advance if you can't make it

The ability to work in a team - the team's success is more important than your logs

Preparation - both in gear and strategy. (Yes, even Demon Hunters need to prepare)

Good existing knowledge of your specialisation, and the willingness to expand that knowledge

Respectful behaviour - though friendly banter is fine (and encouraged). Needlessly offensive behaviour, however, will not be tolerated.

What you can expect from us:

A friendly and inclusive atmosphere

Solid raid progression across all difficulties we partake in

Free food and flasks during progression (and on farm, for the most part)

Mythic+ dungeons

Guild repair

Competent management (mostly) from an overzealous paladin and a South African multiclasser
