Gathering is a casual guild of mostly 30+ dudes that come together on Mondays and Wednesdays at 20:00 Server time until 23:00 Server time. The Gathering has been active since Warlords of Draenor and has consistently taken down the HC bosses. We're very laid back in our approach to guild commitment, we only require raiders to show up during raid time, other than that we don't really do much guild based content. Our goal is only to clear HC each raid tier, if you want to raid mythic or normal outside of our normal raid times with another guild that is completely fine, just show up to raids and bring your A-game. Generally we finish up Heroic and aim to clear the full instance in a single night, we try to keep up doing some content on mondays but eventually we call an official raid break until the next raid tier.

We're looking for any member that wants to clear some moderately difficult content but doesn't want to sink hours and hours into getting the best gear. Be mature and helpful and you will be greeted with open arms. If you can't migrate and still raid we can figure it out, show consistency and help us keep you involved and you can raid with us without being in the guild.

Ripped from our rules discord for more details:

Raid info & rules The general custom of the raid team is that everyone should carry their own weight and be considerate of others. We’ve set down a few basic rules so that everyone is on the same page.

-We raid on Mondays and Wednesdays, start at 20.00 (see above) server time and end at 23.00.

-During off-days your may do raids, m+ dungeons and other content outside of the guild as you wish with whomever you want. But don't get locked out so we miss potential loot drops that can help the group. This means that you can progress / farm outside of the guild on tuesdays, this applies only to ‘Raiders’ and ‘Trial Raiders’.

-Invites begin at 19:45. Raiders should aim to be online (on the right character) by then.

-Raiders should be inside the instance and ready to fight by 20:00.

-At around 20:00 we’ll invite ‘Trial Raiders’. Number of ‘Trial Raiders’ might differ from raid to raid, depending on number of attending Raiders and Raid group. Other factors might be the general composition of the raid group and different needs on bosses. Do not expect to be invited to every raid as a ‘Trial Raider’.

-We do ask raiders to inform council if you can't attend a raid so we can make arrangements in time, do this as soon as you can via #raiders och a PM on discord. The same goes if you are running late. If by any chance a we have a full raid group we might sadly ask a ‘Trial Raider’ to drop their spot to a ‘Raider’.-We ask raiders to have reasonable attendance. Regularly missing raids may lead to losing your spot to someone with higher attendance.

-Raiders should take pride in their characters. We expect people to gem and enchant their gear appropriately. Many guild members are happy to provide gems or enchants for mats cost to those who need it, so there’s really no excuse!-We do expect progress raiders to learn the fight mechanics for new bosses ahead of time, but studying a specific execution strategy isn’t mandatory unless raid leadership requests it. Icy Veins and Fatboss guides are recommended.

-Very low performance or consistently failing at required tasks may lead to benching or demoting especially during progress raids, but considering the guild’s semi-casual nature, we don’t expect world first-class performance, and we accept the occasional mistakes.

-Loot that you receive is yours. If you don't need the item, check with the raid if someone else needs it before you vendor / disenchant it. However it’s your choice if you want to roll it out or just directly give it to someone. As long it benefits the raid it's all good. Everyone that was a part of the boss / trash fight has the right to roll for an announced item, no matter what rank you have.

-Mats from disenchanting and or scraping are always needed so that we can create food/flasks/gems/etc. We might ask you for donations or farm if we are missing any specific mats.

-Communication during raid is key, we expect you to be online and on time in discord. Please use push to talk and make sure that your equipment is working so we don't waste time on you trying to fix your settings etc.

-Discussions during raids needs to be kept to a minimum and on topic, we can discuss your feelings after the raid. In-short don't waste everyone's time.

-AFKing during raids should be kept to a minimum. If you absolutely need to AFK outside of the raid break, try to do it during trash / corpse-runs to keep disruption to a minimum, and let someone know that you’re going! If you will take to long time, we will drop you.

-Council are aiming to have an meeting after each raid, to discuss the raid, performance and potential changes, etc., during this time it's your are welcome to give us feedback and or discuss with you.

Attitude is more difficult to write in rules. We don’t mind swearing itself, but don’t be rude towards a particular player or the raid in general – we’d rather do away with those. Suggestions or pointing out the occasional mistake is acceptable, but you should know the person you are talking to – not everyone responds to feedback similarly. If you are the recipient, don’t lash out defensively – they are trying to help you and the raid, not attack you. If in doubt, use whispers instead of voice, or message a role leader or an officer.
