The Hand of Shadow are an established Horde guild, raiding for many years now on Spinebreaker and connected realms. Over the last few expansions we’ve gradually become more progress orientated, whilst retaining our friendly lively atmosphere. Most of our raiders are older players (20s – 30s), from a wide range of raiding backgrounds. We are an inclusive sociable guild, with an active gchat and Teamspeak server, and occasional irl guild meetups.

We pride ourselves on having a relaxed friendly atmosphere where raiding is enjoyable, whilst still maintaining reasonable progress. Whilst we’re not trying to be hardcore, we are aiming to progress far into each raid on Mythic while it is still relevant. We are currently 5/8M in Uldir, and we're always on the lookout for potential recruits to improve our roster and help us progress more Mythic bosses.

Wednesday: 19:45 – 23:00 (server time)
Thursday: 19:45 – 23:00
Monday: 19:45 – 23:00

What you can expect from us:
We offer a progress minded but relaxed raiding atmosphere where you won’t burn out. We are a group of skilled raiders who have been playing together for a long time, and enjoy the challenges of mythic raiding, with a good balance between serious attitudes and comedy. Our members are sociable, and enjoy mythic+ and old content runs, PvP, achievements and alts. Many members also play other games together, and can be found on Teamspeak at various times of the day and night! We will make you feel welcome and part of the team, and there’s always plenty going on outside of raids.

What we expect from you:
Although we have many bilingual members, we speak English at all times during raids and group content so as not to exclude anyone. All raiders should be able to speak and understand English comfortably. We use Teamspeak during raids, and although a microphone isn’t absolutely required, it is strongly encouraged. We prefer players who have some prog-raiding experience, so that they’re used to the normal basic requirements (knowing your class and the tactics, showing up regularly and on time, being properly gemmed / enchanted, having consumables with you, not randomly afking, etc etc), and we’re also looking for a good attitude, both to raiding and in general- we want friendly, social people with a sense of humour who’ll become part of our family and add to the atmosphere, and we want players who are enthusiastic about the game and take pride in their performance and characters.
