Black Death is a Day 1 guild on the Dalaran Server.
Progression
Legion - En 7/7H, ToV 3/3H, NH 10/10H, ToS 9/9H, Ahead of the curve achievement on all raids this expansion so far.
Pandaria - SoO 8/14H, ToT 9/13H, we went casual for MSV, HoF, and ToES so there is no progression here.
Cataclysm - Dragon Soul 8/8H, Firelands - 6/7H, Blackwing Descent (10man - 6/6R,1/6H. 25man- 5/6R), Bastion of Twilight (10man 5/5R, 1/5H. 25man - 4/4R), and Conclave of Wind (10man - 2/2. 25man - 1/2)
Wrath of the Lich King - Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, Malygos, Ulduar, Trial of the Crusader completed. Icecrown Citadel (11/12H 10 man, 11/12H 25 man) with both 10 and 25 man Drake achievements.
Burning Crusade - Karazhan, Magtheridon, Gruul's Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern (Pre-nerf), Tempest Keep (Pre-nerf), Mount Hyjal, Black Temple completed. Sunwell (2/6).
Vanilla - MC, BWL, ZG, AQ/20, AQ/40, ZA (with Bear mounts) completed. We also killed a few bosses in Naxxramas when it was a 40 man raid.
Recruitment
A trail run will be required and once you're accepted to the Black Death family, you will begin your recruitment period. During the recruitment period you will be analyzed on several factors:
Ability
- How well you play.
- Ability to GTFO when you need to.
- Situational awareness.
- Minimizing damage taken.
- Maximizing damage output (including while moving).
Attitude
- If you give the officers and raid leaders a hard time, it is obviously not going to reflect well.
- Help others when you can, but learn to keep quiet when the officers are trying to explain things.
Preparation and Attendance
- You will maintain a 90% raid attendance during your recruitment period. Once made a raider we expect you to maintain 80% raid attendance. We understand that real life comes up, but unexplained, multiple disappearances won't be tolerated.
- If we bring you to a raid, we expect you to do your homework prior to raid by watching the videos, reading the strategies, and bring consumables.
- Raid times are Wednesday and Monday nights 8:00pm–11:00pm EST. If you intend to apply, please make sure you can make all scheduled raids.
Loot
We use Personal loot in all raids, and roll on all unwanted gear.
All in all, we are a very fun guild. The members all have a great sense of humor and are easy to get along with. If you think you have the talent and the determination to hang with us, feel free to post an application on the website.
Exceptional applications are *always* considered.
