<Aeternus> is interested in competitive players experienced
in raiding. Raid times are Monday through Thursday,5-9pm PST. Visit
www.aeternus-dunemaul.guildlaunch.com to apply. Exceptional
applicants are always welcome, even if your class is not listed as
high priority. (18+ y/o,private apps allowed)
APPLICATION PROCESS:
We are looking for players who are dedicated to excelling in raiding progression. These are the types of player we are looking for:
-Players with a sense of obligation to show up, even when they don't want to, for the sake of the group.
-Team players. This means players who will take the initiative on interrupts, crowd control, decursing and debuffs, even when it means a drop in personal dps/hps.
-Players who understand how their class works, not just following what popular sites say. This is important for finding the nuances of individual fights.
-Players who can talk in vent when needed, but will keep vent clear otherwise during progression fights.
-Players who are aware of mechanics, and can deal with them almost flawlessly, while still performing well after an appropriate amount of practice on a fight.
-Players who aren't cheap. Using potions and buying crafted gear as it becomes available is essential to quick progression and making the most of what is available to you.
-Players who take constructive criticism well.
-Players who don't create drama over loot/achievements/drakes.
-Players who put in their work outside of raids.
i) This means researching class changes as they come out to optimize their play.
ii) It includes researching proper gear choices, rotations/priorities and fight strategies.
iii) If the information for new fights are available from the PTR, players should know the fight by time it comes out on live servers.
iv) Players should be aware of addons which can improve their play, be using ones that are appropriate, and have them set up before raids.
If you are not striving to meet most, if not all of these, then serious progression may not be the thing for you.
