“Ouzo” Guild

Ouzo are recruiting for 10-man Cataclysm content!


Who we are:

Ouzo is a New Zealand/Australia based 10-man raiding guild which formed in March of 2009 from the remnants of Queen’s Council. Since then, we’ve had a number of exceptional raiders join our ranks to create a solid raiding team to clear current hardmode content. Our roster contains a mature group of players (mostly in their 20s) who wish to experience all high-end raiding that the coming expansion has to offer. In saying that, we’ve also got a fairly laid-back attitude, and on off nights take part in fun/achievement/reputation/alt runs.


What we have achieved:

Prior to patch 4.0.1, we had completed nearly all 10-man content available to us:
• 10/12 Icecrown Citadel hardmodes, with 12/12 normal modes (5% attempts on HM Sindy)
• 1/1 Ruby Sanctum (hardmode Halion not attempted)
• 5/5 Trial of the Grand Crusader, with 5/5 Trial of the Crusader (including Tribute to Insanity)
• 1/1 Onyxia’s Lair
• 10/10 Ulduar hardmodes, with 13/13 normal modes (including Algalon)
• 16/16 Naxxramas
• 1/1 Eye of Eternity
• 1/1 Obsidian Sanctum (including +3D)
• Several of our members have earned Glory of the Ulduar Raider 10 & 25, and we are currently 3 achievements short of Glory of the Icecrown Raider 10.


When we raid:

Currently, we raid on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm server time (5 hours a week), with the possibility of reinstating our Sunday night run should the content require it. Fun/achievement/reputation/alt runs aren’t normally scheduled, but do occur regularly on our off nights.


What we are looking for:

Obviously we are looking for more members to fill in absences in our current raiding roster for upcoming Cataclysm 10-man content (Blackwing Descent, Throne of the Four Winds, Bastion of Twilight). Players will need to be of an exceptional standard, but also have patience and a reasonably laid back attitude. Good WotLK and/or previous raiding experience is a big plus, but not entirely necessary.

Classes/roles we’re currently looking for are:
• x1 TANK – preferably non-paladin, but will consider exceptional pallies
• x1 HEALER – non-shaman, no exceptions
• x2 DPS – preferably one ranged (spriest, mage, boomkin) and one melee (warrior, DK, ret)

If your class or role isn’t listed above, don’t worry, depending on the standard of your application and experience, we could find a spot for you in our team.

We are also after casual and non-raiders to fill in spots on nights where core raiders are unable to attend, as well as for fun/achievement/reputation/alt runs. We will be completing guild achievements as quickly as possible, as well as leveling our guild fast in order to gain the rewards (which you will be able to enjoy).
