“Overrated” Guild

Overrated – Current progression 8/8N- 6/8H
Is a newer alliance guild (Founded 5-18-2011) residing on Greymane (PVE cst server). We are looking to be a 25 man hardcore raiding guild, however currently our focus is on 10 mans as we are very selective in our recruitment (we don’t like window lickers). Having said that we are a new guild but make no mistakes, the leadership of the guild has the experience to push the guild to the top of the server and push for top 100 US rankings. Overrated was created with the belief that guilds fail because of their leadership. Whether it be poor attendance, bad players, drama, or whatever, guilds fail because of the way in which the officers and up respond. In Overrated we are not elitists however we will push everyone to their maximum and we are experienced enough to handle any problems the guild comes across. We run a very tight ship, we realize that it is a game but at the same time we realize that people who want to raid at a high level look at it as more than just a game. Our entire focus is on finding players that possess the same passion for the game as we do!

Current Recruitment Needs
ALL EXCEPTIONAL PLAYERS – needed for 25 mans
*Affliction/Demonology Warlock
*Resto/Balance Druid
*Resto/Elemental Shaman

*core spots (You will not be sitting the bench) for progression in our 10 man

Applicant Expectations
A minimum of 18 years old – exceptions can be made but it is an adult guild, maturity is required

A minimum of 85% attendance is required – includes being timely for invites and posting out via website forums if unable to attend a raid

100% knowledge of your class and spec, being viable at your OS is a huge plus

100% prepared for all encounters aka have researched all the bosses we could possibly be working on and have a thorough understanding of the fights mechanics

Don’t stand in bright fires under your feet (unless it is a rare occasion and is a buff)

Mumble and a working microphone is a must, with ability to speak up clearly when needed

A very positive Attitude

Most importantly you put the guild goals before your own personal ones (we will accomplish anything any individual would want to as “One Team”)

What You Can Expect From The Guild
Free Repairs once you have passed your Trial Period

Bank provided- enchants, gems, cauldrons, feasts, and pots

A solid raiding atmosphere without all the constant screaming and yelling

A solid understanding of your role in the guild

A guild you will be able to call home for many expansions

Application through Trial Process
Once an application has been submitted, it will be reviewed quickly and either set to a trial period or denied. Assuming you possess what we are looking for we will contact you and make preparations for your arrival. Once you have received a guild invite you will begin a trial period which will last approximately 30 days. During this time it is up to you to sell yourself to the guild. At the end of the trial you will either be promoted to Member status, demoted to a social, or permanently removed from the guild. Regardless of the decision made you will be notified and spoken with prior to any actions being taken.

Assuming you attained the status of Member, you will be granted access to the guild bank and have a core spot within our raids.

Final Notes
We are a progression guild and as a result of that we are not a perfect fit for everyone. If you are okay with not clearing content fully prior to nerfs, or don’t feel that you should have to put your time in to consistently research your class or boss mechanics, then please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR OURS!
