Self Titled was created on Mal'Ganis on October 21, 2005.
Self Titled is a social friends and family guild, and home to a truly casual raid team. We are an adult guild, and guild chat isn't always PG-13, but we are respectful of each other and generally polite. We are currently looking to build our social roots again, and anyone interested in just joining the guild is invited to talk to almost anyone.
Our raid team is casual in the time we spend raiding, but hardcore in what we do during that time. On two four-hour raids a week, we were able to progress to 6/6 3/4 prior to 2.4 unlocking tier 6 raids. We were then able to progress to 5/5 6/9 prior to the 3.0 changes. We plan on getting a jump start in Wrath now that we have retention among the officers and a better idea of how to progress on a short amount of time, two things we did not have transitioning from vanilla WoW into TBC.
With WotLK we took a slow start due to holidays and giving people plenty of time to level and didn't start our 25-man raids until early January. In the last few weeks leading up to 3.1 we only had Immortal and 6-minute left to finishing the Heroic: Glory of the Raider but were unable to complete them due to a lot of schedule conflicts with our raiders.
We're currently recruiting to fill some gaps we have and intend on focusing on the "hard mode" fights in Ulduar this time around to get all of those achievements done before the next level of content is released.
Anyone interested in raiding, including people already in-guild, are subject to an application process.
