“Spanish Inquisition” Guild

Spanish Inquisition is currently seeking competent players to flesh out the raid roster and push through ICC.

So, on to the normal diatribe that is guild recruitment.

<SI> currently raids Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings from 7:30 server time to 10:30 server time. We do require a 75% raid attendance with of course, consideration to real life commitments. Sometimes we do start early if the raid is full, but we do not run over the time limit because we respect the fact that you have school, work, kids to attend to the next morning. It is important to note that we do not run H-Naxx or Uld anymore and are focused on Tier 10 content. You need to be able to perform at Tier 10 standards. This does not necessarily mean being completely epicced out in all TOC BiS pieces. It does mean performing at the levels required to be successful in said raids. Being able to use add ons and Vent is required.

Be aware that we are looking not only for competent players but for the right players to fill out our raids. If one fourth of the raid is one class, it drastically slows down your ability to gear the raid evenly and progress. This is just as hurtful to the guild in the long run as it is to you. We do have an adult-oriented atmosphere with some stupid humor but just as much intelligent humor, and rarely ever any immaturity.

DKP in Brief:
We have a fairly customized loot system and this is only a general summation. You earn DKP as normal by attending raids, when an item comes up the Master Looter will post it and everyone that want's it sends the word Bid to him in a tell, or /rolls to signify a want of it for off spec or the equivalent thereof. The item is awarded to the person with the highest DKP total and the cost is either 100 DKP minimum, one plus the next highest person's total, or 60% of your points; whichever is highest. This system drops the winner back towards the middle of the pack and allows fair and even loot distribution even to newer members! You will not be buried in DKP for two years in this system and it discourages hoarding.

P.S. Yes, we know how horrible the real life Spanish Inquisition was and we remind everyone that we are based off Monty Python and Mel Brooks' comedy, so please refrain from flaming about it. You might also consider that horrible things happen to innocent people every day. Maybe instead of getting bent out of shape about a guild name you should do some volunteer work for crime victims, veterans, the elderly, or the homeless. You know, help fix a not superficial problem.

TLDR: You must have a real problem reading raid strategies.
