<Alter> is a semi-hardcore raiding guild
focused on pushing content as far as we are able to. Our goal is to
complete mythic by the end of each tier. We welcome players of all
interests, specs, and classes. We strive to provide an environment
where everyone can develop their skills and master their classes
and specializations.
Outside of raid we maintain an environment where everyone can have fun and join a group for any content they desire. While in raid, we expect full focus and preparation, meaning boss fight research, raid consumable collection, and gear preparation. Everyone's time is valuable - we expect raiders to be committed to individual development and improvement and show up to raid ready to go for the full 3h.
Our Raid Times:
We raid from 7:30 PM Central to 10:30 PM Central on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Mythic Keystones:
Secondary to our raiding team, we have a few members who focus solely on M+ keystones. We aim to build a community of skilled players so those who wish to play casually will always be able to find a group of solid players to group with.
Expectations:
Ultimately we are seeking players who are skilled at their class and feel a hunger for progression. That said, attendance is also incredibly important. Life comes first, but we do expect notice to be given as far in advance as possible, and that if you can find a way to still raid, you do so. While we are more lenient with our attendance expectations than most other guilds, we still expect our raiders to do their best to maintain 90% raid attendance.
How Do We Trial?
Our trial process is fairly informal. During the duration of an applicant's trial, attendance, performance, and attitude are all measured by the members of our leadership. At the end of the duration of the trial, which at a maximum will last two weeks, applicants will be told whether or not they pass or fail and why. Should the applicant not meet the expectations, they will be given the option to re-trial, or to remain in the guild as a social member.
