Ludicrous Speed is a relaxed, Horde, 10 & 25-man raiding guild on
Uldaman (US EST) currently 9/12 in T11 10-mans and 6/12 in
25-mans.
We are presently looking for tanks (or melee that can tank when needed) and caster dps (full on warlocks), but exceptional applicants of other roles will be considered. We raid from 9:30 pm - 12:00 am server (EST) on Tuesday, Wedneday, Thursday, and Sunday, and sometimes also on Saturday. It is expected that members will raid with us at least once or twice a week, but no penalty is incurred otherwise.
We just recently started using a biweekly raid schedule to increase the pace of progression. First, we spend a week farming 25-mans and work on catching our 25-man progression up to our 10-man progression. The following week, we run only 10-mans, and split into two groups each night - a progression group with extended raid ID's, and a farm group with fresh raid ID's. Players who would rather farm can do so, and the rest take turns cycling into the progression group on a nightly basis by using a unique point system (more active players get to work on progression more often - see the link below to read more about this). Lately, we've been filling the 10-mans without a problem, but have to pug a few each night for 25-man.
Our guild is home to a well-established, friendly and fair raiding environment. We do not yell at each other, and instances of drama are few and far between. Criticism of raid performance is offered in a helpful, non-accusatory manner and often in whispers. All guild members are given equal opportunity to raid and obtain loot; we use EPGP to distribute loot (a DKP system that rewards those who raid most frequently - read more about it on our forum by visiting the link below), and as mentioned above, a unique point system to take turns cycling players into the raid. These practices allow us to maintain an atmosphere in which everybody is able to enjoy their time playing the game, while still progressing through content at a pace that is rewarding and fun.
