History
Entourage is a 10 man raiding guild on Outland EU.
Entourage was started in August 2010 by the previous GMS; Winno and Shijo, with additional players and friends from their previous guild, <Unsafe>, on Outland. The aim was to create a fun, easy going environment to raid in for Cataclysm and the remainder of Wrath of the Lich King.
Historically many of Entourage's raiders have been playing since "Vanilla" or The Burning Crusade. Some of us have also been playing together for a very long time, throughout TBC and WotLK, and obviously others have joined over the course of time.
In our first 3 weeks as a guild we cleared all the achievements for Glory of the Icecrown Raider and went on to work on Lich King Heroic. The fight proved to be a bit of a challenge for us as a 10 man guild in nothing but 264 ilevel gear but we are proud to say that we killed him in the end and got the Bane of the Fallen King achievement completed for all of our raiding members.
Cataclysm is coming along nicely but I feel I'll be able to tell you all about it better once this expansion has come to an end. :3
Guild Philosophy
Our goal is to have excellent progression through any current tier. This means we are not going to raid hardcore and compete to be in the top 3 guilds on the server, however we don’t want to rely on Blizzard adding buffs or debuffs that makes the instances trivial before we complete them either.
We only raid 10 mans and we will attempt to do so with a small and tight knit raid squad. This means we are looking for people that will keep a high attendance at all times, but we also know and appreciate that people have lives outside WoW and can’t attend every single raid.
Some rotation of raid spots will always be needed to keep us going but we will try to keep it as low and as fair as possible.
We will always prioritise progress as a guild above farming gear. So if you are looking for somewhere to farm shiny epics and get a full tier set as soon as possible we might not be the guild for you. We will work towards clearing any given instance and then start working on hard modes and meta-achievements as soon as we possibly can, focusing on gear only when it's absolutely crucial to keep up progress.
