“Convictions” WoW Guild

Convictions of Hellscream(US-PVE) is currently recruiting..

We previously cleared all content (including Sarth 3D) pre 3.1 and are now working on Ulduar content. 12/14 U25 AND 13/14 U10

We are recruiting for the new 3.2 Content push. Convictions is an Adult Centric guild. So only adults need apply, we do not need parent agro or teen drama here, you will be turned away if you bring that to our door.

Are you looking for a progressive guild without the elitist attitude? Are you tired of showing up to raids fully prepared for raids, while half your guild doesn't care about doing the same? We were tired of this, and started a guild to counter these nuisances. We believe the basic foundation of every raiding guild should include a fun and mature atmosphere, while respecting fellow guild members and the WoW community as a whole, along with consistent progression in content through persistence and team-work and a good social network to have a place to unwind after work or school. We put fun before anything.

We believe you can consistently progress in raids and have fun without a screaming raid leader, rigid regimen, and crew of snot-nosed elitist punks. We are looking for individuals who by second nature fully prepare for raids in an efficient manner and respect fellow guild-mates time. By fully prepared we mean; regularly farm for the best consumables you will use on raid nights, have mats for your next enchant and gems ready for your next potential loot drop, read up on bosses as the guild is learning them, understand your class/spec and always be attempting to improve your play. And by respect fellow guild-mates time, we mean consistently show-up to raids fully repaired and on time, be active in guild forums - sharing your ideas on improving progression and the guild, act maturely in an adult-centric environment, and address any potential drama causing incidents immediately before growing into a bigger problem and at the lowest level possible.

We find that most raiders that actually want to progress already practice the above practices and are a pretty good indicator of the player's intentions. We are just trying to fill our core with like-minded people and grow around our people, and effectively weed-out any pretenders that don't feel proper preparation and respect are important to progressing. We will not accept people who cannot follow these two basic guidelines. We need the right people behind the classes/specs, and not just any ol' priest, warlock or druid (note: the classes named to left is an example only and does not necessarily reflect our recruiting needs) to fill our raiding needs.

Our needs for Core raiding spots:
Shaman - Resto/Elemental
Priest - Holy/Disc and Shadow/Disc
Paly - Holy/Any other spec

About Us:

- We use time based DKP, w/ bonuses on progression raids.
- You earn DKP whether in raid or waitlisted and a fair waitlist rotation.
- Although we are newly formed guild our members are experienced and time-proven raiders. We have a strong foundation to the guild; many of us have raided together going as far back as MC in 2005.

- Raid Schedule:
Wed/Thurs/Sun: 7-11 CST (current raid days for most of our core players)

We have a clear and concise vision for this guild and set high but obtainable goals for progression and other milestones.

- Our leadership is under the same set of expectations as its members and is expected to lead by example.
