“War and Peace” Guild

We always recruit the player before the class.

<War and Peace> is a guild that has existed since Vanilla. Many members have come and gone, but the guild atmosphere has remained the same - fun and friendly. Our raiding culture has never been strict, but we expect the best from our raiders.

The <War and Peace> raid team is currently recruiting more raiders to begin Mythic raids. Given this, we do not require any raid member to have to leave their guild in order to raid with us. However, we do have stringent requirements:

Attendance - Showing up to raid is incredibly important and we will commit to anyone who can commit to us.

Preparedness - We expect our raiders to be ready with flasks, pots, and food (runes are appreciated but not required unless there is underperformance in numbers). We do not require people to have to watch videos of encounters, but it is mandatory to have read the raid journal.

Attitude - We will not tolerate any "bad apples." We still stick our basic tenet of prioritizing the player and not the class. This includes being productive in the raid with constructive criticism and not bringing down morale with a negative attitude. Staying upbeat for all those wipes during progression is important.

Taking Criticism - We are a semi-casual guild. We do not have as much time as we would like to take long on bosses. Problems need to get fixed immediately. We require all our raiders to be able to handle constructive criticism. We sometimes call people out individually, and developing the mindset that we are not trying to pick on you, rather trying to improve you, is mandatory.

Enjoyment - At the end of the day, we all play the game to have fun. We are looking for people that always keep this in mind and want to have fun with our established group. We partake in banter, we partake small talk, or even childish conversations. We are a group with a common goal - to have fun killing the final boss.

Discord - Discord is both accessible via an application and the browser. You do not require people to have to talk, but we do require people to have to be in the chat to listen to calls.

TANKING NOTE: The tanking position is currently full and we are currently only looking for backups. DPS that are proficient with their tanking spec will be valued.
