“Conviction” Guild

About Us:
Conviction is a hardcore raiding guild that was formed at the beginning of WotLK, and we have established ourselves as one of the top guilds on Korgath. We are always looking for exceptional, reliable players who can handle the competitive nature of high-end progression raids.


Raid Schedule:
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - 8:30pm-11:30pm CST. During Progression, we will raid all 4 days. As progress is completed, these days will be shed and the shorter schedule will return.


Expectations:
- Extensive knowledge of your class mechanics and raid encounters. You should know your own role and also that of your fellow raiders. You should understand all aspects of an encounter (tanking/healing/DPS) from an academic standpoint and from a practical point of view. 

- Maximizing your gear to be ready for raiding. While we understand you may not have all the best in terms of actual items, we do expect you to put forth the effort to have the best gems/enchants to help bridge the gap.

- High attendance is critical, especially for learning new content. While we understand real life precedence, you should strive for 100% attendance.

- Mumble and a working microphone are essential. Being able to communicate verbally is absolutely required and exceptions will not be tolerated.

- A good attitude towards raiding and other players. Members are expected to bring 100% focus to raids every night.

- An ability to fit into the guild environment. If you do not get along with the other members, chances are high that you will not pass your trial period.

Recruits:
Potential recruits have to be punctual and independent enough to have high raid attendance. This is especially important for progression raids. Recruits should be competitive and always trying to improve his or her game. We are looking for players who want to deliver flawless performance and aren't content with being average. It's also a huge plus if the player isn't afraid to talk and bring his own ideas into the fight and can grasp the whole picture.

Even if your class is not listed, its completely welcomed that you send in an application. A good application may open up new possibilities.
