About Torchwood
Torchwood is a semi-hardcore guild located on the alliance side of stormrage. Many of us are ex hardcore raiders looking for a lighter raiding schedule while still maintaining solid and steady progression. Because of our lighter schedule, only nine hours a week, we expect all of our raiders to consistently preform with the best of the best. We have some seriously skilled players in our guild, many of whom constantly rank top 200 in the world or 90-95th percentile on every fight. You must be able to keep up. We will not hold your hand, we will not tolerate slackers and most importantly we don't accept failure or excuses.

Torchwoods Goal
Torchwoods main goal is to kill all the available content in a quick and efficient manner. We enjoy our lives outside of the game and thus only raid 9 hours a week. At the same time we would like to maintain and create new friendships while playing this game together. If you aren't the best player in the world, we won't hold that against you, because we aren't the best either. However, we strive to become better each and every day, and we expect you to as well.

Raid Times
We expect our raiders to maintain a 90% attendance rate. We are a smaller guild, We don't over recruit or recruit for the bench. We keep a roster of 22-24 players. This means attendance is very important. Please, if you cannot make all of our raid times 100% of the time, barring emergencies, do not apply and do not contact us.

Wednesday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
Thursday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
Sunday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST

Recruitment Needs
We are currently recruiting 3-4 dps classes. Any of the classes listed below would work but obviously we would prefer the classes listed under High Needs more. And of course, if you are an exceptional player no matter what class, feel free to apply. Seriously, go apply! We look at all serious apps in detail and don't mind replacing our current raiders with better ones.

Other Requirements
-good enough gear to jump straight into our raids. We understand that skill is better than gear but there is a diminishing return. We won't go out of our way to do old raids or lesser difficulties to help catch you up in gear. It's not worth the time or effort.
-Extensive knowledge of your class and specialization.
-Keep your character completely optimized at all times. Make sure you're always performing at 100%.
-90% attendance. If you're planning to join us, plan to make all raids. Emergencies are an exception.
-We expect nothing but a positive mindset, period. If you are a whiner, a complainer, an excuse maker, a loot !@#$%, or anything that falls in between or around those descriptions, move along. We expect you to constantly strive to improve yourself. Make no excuses and just do it.
-Mumble and a working microphone are required.
