Pure was formed in June 2005 on Al Akir EU server and moved to Auchindoun EU on the free transfers in 2009.

We are a socially strong guild, there are always a lot of people online to talk with and have fun. It is important for us, that we do not only socialize and get together during raids, having fun outside raids it just as important, whether this is doing RBGs, dungeons, old content or just chatting on VT/skype. We believe in having a strong community where we aim at getting a strong bond between our players. Therefore we also seek people who are willing to invest time in getting to be a part of our community.

Recruits:

Pure is seeking committed people, who know their class inside and out, we are not here to teach you how to play your class, we expect you to be able to help out by knowing every move your class can perform and how we can benefit from this in raids. This doesn't mean we don't talk about things and how to improve individually, but it is very important that everyone has a lot of knowledge and experience in regards to their respective classes. We are expecting that you are able to show up for 2 days a week and keep your focus during raids. We are not seeking drama queens, loot whores or anyone who think they are better than the rest. No one is above the guild and none of us can do this alone, but as a big strong unit, we can take everything down together.

Raid days and roles:

As mentioned above it is expected you can show up at all two raid days. The days we are raiding at the moment are as follows (all times are server time), raid time may be extended if we are close to a kill:

Wednesday from 19:30 - 23:00 Game Time
Thursday from 19:30 - 23:00 Game Time


Whether you apply as tank, dps or healer, it is very important to us that you can enter our raid roster and give our current members competition from day one. We expect you to be able to read up on encounters and come prepared for all raids. We often have discussions how and where we can improve on progress encounters and therefore being able to participate in such discussions is a must.

Healers:

We expect healers to participate and communicate on ventrilo. You have the role of keeping the raid alive and even the slightest mistake can cause a wipe. A great healer is able to adapt to every situation, are able to heal while he/she is aware of every move that is going on in the raid, being one step ahead of the situation is definitely a healers most important skill.

Tanks:

A strong tank is good at communicating with the raid. You have a very important role in the raid, and a great tank can make a huge difference whether we are going to take down an encounter or not. You know when to use your cooldowns and are aware of your surroundings, especially where to move and not to move.

DPS:

Being a dmg dealer for many people is a simple task, but a great dmg dealer can make a difference. You will strive to be on the top of the charters always, while during your assigned task. Being top of the dmg meters and then dying due to fire during the raid is just as bad as being low on the meters but not making any mistakes. By doing your job correctly you take stress off the healers!

Overall:

We are seeking nice people who are interested in seeing all content in PvE in WoW, people who enjoy the game without taking it to a hardcore level. We want to have fun while doing this, it’s important for us that everyone knows we do this in our spare time and this shouldn't feel like a job.
