We are now recruiting exceptional players of all classes and specs for a chance to be on the Cataclysm raiding team!

With our Icecrown Citedel raiding season over, finishing with a respectable 12/12 Heroic in 10-man, 11/12 Heroic in 25-man & Glory of the Icecrown Raider in both 10-man & 25-man, recruitment is closed at this time. However, Cataclysm recruitment is now open.

Damage Control

When we raid
Raids take place 19:00 to 23:00 CET (Realm Time; 6:00pm-10pm GMT) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday & Monday. If necessary, Tuesday is also used to ensure all content is cleared within the raiding week.
Actual time spent raiding may vary according to personal issues/wipes/one-shotting everything.

• Who we want
  Applicants are to show a excellent understanding of their class, and are expected to perform at the top of their game at all times. Damage Control is a hardcore progressing guild, it strives to push the capabilities of the raid to the limit, attempting the hardest content available to us at the time.
  There will be wipes.
  There will be criticism.
  There will be stress.
  If you cannot handle any of these, this is not the place for you. However, what can also be guaranteed is tears of joy when you finally complete what you set out to do.
  
  You will also be expected to be well prepared for all occasions; this includes, but is not limited to:
  
• Flasks for the duration of the raid.
  
• Enough money to cover on-the-spot repairs.
  
• Reagents for class specific mass buffs.
  
• Appropriately gemmed and enchanted gear.
  
• A serious attitude whilst raiding.
  
  If your class & talent specialisation is closed for recruitment and you still feel that you are a rather talented individual, you can still apply; we're always looking for new members who are at the top of their game to try and challenge our current raiders ability.
  
  In-depth knowledge of tactics for both 10-man and 25-man versions of current content are a must. And by in-depth, you should be analysing, living and dreaming those tactics; Not just having a general idea to 'get out of the fire'.
  Heroic variations of the tactics are discussed as a guild for best results; should you be accepted, you should be well versed in these.
  
  
• How to apply
  All new members are considered on a case-by-case application process via the forums, where they are evaluated on skill, attitude and character.
  Your current standard of gear is also a deciding factor, as Damage Control is a progressing guild, we are not here to boost you.
  
  Note: By gear standard, we look at your gears worth individually, and, as a whole combined with your talent specialisation and class needs. GearScore is a bullshit add-on and if you think we're going to base you on that alone, you should be shot for ignorance of the highest order.
  
  
  Slacking in any way is punishable by -DKP penalty.
