“Excellent” Guild

Who are we?

We are Excellent, a semi-hardcore raiding guild. We have been around on-and-off since 2009, when a few IRL friends decided to take up WoW together, and we've been back several times since. Currently, we have a great core group which we are looking to bolster with some exceptional DPS players. Our raid nights are Wednesday 20:00 - 23:00 and Thursday 20:15 - 23:00, both server time. We may throw in a few optional raids at the beginning of the tier, usually at a difficulty that we've already cleared. We've recently migrated to Draenor from a much quieter EU server, Lightning's Blade, where numbers were frequently the biggest issue when it came to steady progression. We hope to attract new talent as a small fish in this much bigger pond!

About us and our offering

The primary goal of this guild is to foster an inclusive and fun environment where people feel welcome and where progression is also key. With this in mind, we feel that it's important that our players are capable of consistently improving where possible (by checking logs/WoW Analyzer/Wipefest etc.) and taking constructive criticism when it's warranted. This isn't personal; it's simply about growing as a group and clearing content together at the highest level.

Each tier, we will aim to clear Normal and Heroic quickly before moving on to steady Mythic progression to see how far we can get. With that being said, it's not the end of the world if we can't clear it as CE is not our main goal. However, we are confident in our ability to progress smoothly through the content.


What are we currently looking for?

We are currently recruiting for Mythic progression in Dragonflight. At the moment, we are welcoming applications from all strong ranged DPS players, with no preference around class.

What we'd expect from you

- Above all else, you have a mature mindset and are non-toxic.
- You use Discord and have a working mic.
- You use the required addons (DBM/BigWigs, WeakAuras, RCLootCouncil, Method Raid Tools).
- You are comfortable with your class.
- You are willing to improve and adjust if necessary.
- Keeping your character up to date for the sake of the group's progression.
- You understand that roster rotation is a natural part of Mythic progression.
