“Resurgence” Guild

Resurgence is what we would like to consider a semi-hardcore guild. We strive to be among the top 10 guilds on this realm cluster, while at the same time maintaining our raid schedule, respecting our raiders' private time and maintaining high efficiency.

The guild itself is fairly old and was created in February 2015, as a result of a merge between Dungeon Trollz and Kittens Ltd. of Balnazzar, both guilds with long histories. After hitting hard times during Warlords of Draenor, we decided to reform with Frostwhisper as our new home.

The governing principle of Resurgence is democracy - to avoid any drama related to choices made by management behind closed doors, every decision that impacts the guild in a major way is made by open vote.
This way everything is transparent and we've been able to keep the guild structure as simple as possible - a guildmaster to settle differences and have an overview of the guild, the 3 officers who preside over raids and the raiders themselves.
There is no distinction between any of the ranks when it comes to all but a few areas such as bank management (handled by our treasurer), recruitment, raidleading and social organisation (handled by guildmaster and officers).

Current raid times are Wednesday, Sunday and Monday 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM server time.

As a raider you are expected to keep up with the rest of the guilds' performance, both in terms of output and in terms of knowing the boss fights. There is no holding hands, you are yourself responsible to gather that knowledge and to see it applied correctly.
