So, what is this Outcast thing all about?
Outcast has been around since the early days of The Burning Crusade. Many of our members were around even before that and have seen the ups and downs of both this game and other MMOs. As a guild we tend to keep the roster small enough to provide a social atmosphere and as many raid spots as possible for as many as possible. Outcast started out raiding 25-man content in Gruul's Lair and kept that up throughout the following expansions. Early on in Cataclysm we decided to move toward 10-man raiding with a smaller more focused raid team.
What we ask of you to begin with
It is required that you have levelled up your character to 85 and you should at a bare minimum be geared for raiding current content. You should have very good knowledge about your class and the game mechanics. We need you to be reading up on abilities, stats, castsequences, priorities, class changes and so on and you need to keep it up to date on a regular basis. Knowledge about your class looks, preferred hairstyles or lore is nice but unimportant in this regard. You need to understand that Outcast first and foremost is about raiding. Outcast likes killing big freakin' raid bosses. This means you will need to be able to spend at least 3 to 4 days a week raiding with us, wednesday, thursday, sunday and tuesday at 19.25-23.00. It also means you will have to make sure you do anything you can towards making the time in raid as effective as possible, bringing consumables, being repaired, having reagents, actively reading up on every single boss and so on. If that's not you then you won't enjoy it and you will hold us back. It's not good for anyone.
