“Chimps” Guild

WHO ARE WE?

<Chimps> is a newer Cutting Edge focused guild on Kazzak. Our goal as a team is simple: to clear the most difficult raiding content available, inside of a two day a week schedule.
Inside of <Chimps> our commitment to cultivating an enjoyable, relaxed and no-drama environment is paramount to the guild's founding. We believe in playing our characters to their full potential, being prepared and organised for our limited raid time, and enjoying the banter along the way.

Shadowlands is our first expansion together as a group. With veteran experience throughout our ranks, we are confident in the success we can achieve together.

RAID TIMES

We are a two day a week raiding guild, raiding on Tuesday/Wednesday around 7:00pm till 10:00pm GMT. This includes a mid-raid break to allow everyone time to refocus.
Once we have cleared normal/heroic we do not re-clear unless there is a specifically powerful item needed from one of the bosses. Players usually organise their own in-guild groups or PUGs to run through heroic/normal and obtain what they need before the next raid.

- Why Tuesday/Wednesday? These days fit our schedules. We understand members have their own lives and want to enjoy their weekends doing other activities. There is an in-game advantage too, we get two power spikes with Wednesday reset and a week of activities leading up to Tuesday. This means that each time we attempt bosses, we have a clear growth of power and two continuous days to build on our encounter knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS

As a member of our team it is imperative that you keep your character up to date. With our limited time to progress, we expect players to be well-read, geared and quick to learn.

Everyone in our Mythic team follows the same core rules:

1) KNOW YOUR CLASS! Be aware of what is currently your strongest talent set up for all encounters; AOE, Single Target, Council, Cleave, etc. If you need help using Raidbots or analyzing logs, let us know and we can provide you some assistance. However, we will not optimise your character for you.
2) Understand the fight and your role in it. Raid research for your specific class helps us dramatically cut down on the amount of learning and explanation being done mid-raid. The less we have to do that, the more we get to play the game!
3) You will provide your own consumables, this includes; Food, Flasks, Potions, Tomes, Augment Runes, Vantus Runes, Weapons Oils, Blacksmithing Stones... you get the idea. We do try to provide raid-wide consumables when possible.
4) No drama. If you're consistently stirring up problems and causing issues for multiple raid members, you're benched, and if it continues, you're gone.
5) Exorcus Raid Tools and Weak Auras are required.
