Guild Profile
Primary Language: English
Raids per week: 3
semi-hardcore
Recruiting (outdated): closed
NOT RAIDING CURRENTLY
We're always looking to add fresh players to our roster, so applications will be considered from anyone, even if your class is not listed.
Make sure you impress us in your application and can bring the performance ingame.
Being a social, talkative person is a big plus, you should definately be motivated and have extensive High-end raiding experience from previous raiding tiers.
A little bit about our history:
Envy was formed 2009-11-18, as the result of a merge between players that wanted to raid at the highest level and compete for top world ranks. We are a PvE focused, international English speaking World of Warcraft guild located on EU - Kazzak.
During our existence we’ve gone through ups and downs, achieving Top 5 rankings over multiple expansions but ultimately our hardcore raiding came to an end in Hellfire Citadel.
Since then we have been trying to pursue a more casual approach, without any PTR raiding, extensive Altrunning or any kind of day time raiding. We plan to continue this way in the forseable future as well.
Our raid times are:
Wednesday 20.00 – 23.30 CET
Thursday 20.00 – 23.30 CET
Monday 20.00 – 23.30 CET
During the first week or two of a new raid, we might decide as a collective to add an additional raid day, or to add an hour to a certain raid if we feel we want to. On the other hand, once we have cleared the current content, we normally raid only once or twice at most per week.
If you cannot meet these raid times 99% of the time, it is better to look for a guild elsewhere.
We still aim to keep an efficient and high quality raid standard during the hours we raid, clearing mythic content regularly.
We expect our players to bring their very best during raids, enabling us to make the most of our shortened raiding schedule.
As a community we are naturally competitive, expecting newcomers to be socially capable to respond to performance pressure and possible other kinds of stress (to a reasonable degree). While we do not endorse abusive behavior, all raiders should be mature enough to be able to take some teasing and heat and be able to respond to our mostly relaxed and humorous raid atmosphere appropriately.
You should meet the following:
- raiding experience on a high level is not unknown to you, having it from several expansions is a big plus,
- the ability to adapt to difficult encounters quickly while already learning from other peoples’ mistakes,
- excellent knowledge and mastery of your chosen class,
- a team player with the ability to put the guilds’ needs and goals ahead of your own (meaning ingame related things, real life obligations can take priority),
- a good computer with a stable internet connection and a working microphone
- ability to communicate well in spoken and written English
- actual drive and passion for the game, be motivated and eager to play, raid, wipe, have fun etc... coming back to raiding and realizing after two weeks why you hate the game is a waste of everyone's time.
If you recognize yourself in most of the above, you are probably a suitable addition to the guild and should consider applying.
To do so, send a written application via email to [email protected], use any application template you feel is going to give you the best chance of getting in and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Alternatively, if you're in a hurry for a reply add teferi#21585 on battle.net, but only if you've already sent an application.(We will not give you any serious consideration if you skip the email step)
