Tuft of Gorilla Hair is a 20-man English speaking raiding guild on
Kazzak-EU focusing on mythic raiding twice per week. We are
currently looking for DPS and healers to bolster our roster.
Our Raid Times
Wednesday and Sunday 20:00 to 23:00.
The core players in the guild have been around since the EU launch of World of Warcraft, and we have been raiding together since The Burning Crusade. A lot of us are ex-hardcore players who can’t keep up a hardcore schedule anymore due to other commitments.
Due to the limited time available for raiding we focus on efficiency, and aim to clear available content in the least amount of time spent. Our goal is to clear all available content on mythic difficulty while the content is still relevant.
We can offer you a focused end-game raiding guild, and mythic progression, with a friendly atmosphere. Most notably we killed both Mythic Archimonde and Mythic Xavius while raiding only one day a week.
What we look for in a potential raider;
Experience! We prefer our raiders to at least have had an expansion of raiding under their belt. Knowing how raids work, and what they entail, as well as what they require of you is mandatory.
Attitude! We like ‘em positive. No complainers, whiners and pessimists. We want raiders who believe we can do it, not raiders who tell us why we can’t. Be friendly and bring positive energy to the raid. If you get told by the raid leader to up your performance, or that you have to be placed on standby, don’t take it personally.
Awareness! Don’t stand in the fire, be able to maintain your rotation even during stressful encounters, and an understanding of why you messed up, so you can fix it as quickly as possible.
Dedication! We want raiders who go above and beyond to be the best they can be. Gear yourself up outside of raids in any way you can, show up for raids with consumables, gems & enchants, as well as some spare ones in case you get upgrades during the raid, and read tactics for the bosses we’re about to attempt. Show us that you want to be here, dedication is everything!
Common sense! At the end of the day, you are the one playing your character, and you are the one making the choices. Make sure you use your head, and don’t let your emotions control your actions.
If this sounds interesting head over to our webpage, http://www.tuftofgorillahair.com for more information and to make an application. Alternatively you can also contact an officer ingame. We are: Kimiko (MeesterBuh#1260), Crandalius (Crandalius#21976) and Chosendesu (Chosendesu#2495) and will be more than willing to have a chat with you about any questions you may have.
