“Playground” Guild

Welcome to Playground 2/10(M)!

We started as a mythic raiding community that merged with our social guild called Playground, where we feel at home.

We’re a friendly bunch of people preparing our roster for Mythic progression in Shadowlands. We are currently at 2/10(M) progress in Castle Nathria. Our roster is made up of capable people, who are keen on pushing deep into mythic each tier. We challenge ourselves and each other, and we expect anyone joining in the Mythic raiding team to do the same. While we have a roster of players pushing end content, we place great importance on social aspects of the game as well. We aim to keep the raid environment friendly, with a good dose of competitive spirit.

We are a weekend raiding guild: Saturday / Sunday 11:30am-2:30pm.

What do we expect from you?

We expect our raiders to attend every raid and to let us know when they can't make it. To make things easy, we've set up an event in our Discord where our raiders can sign up each week.

We use Discord for voice comms, and we'd very much like to hear your voice for calls when needed.

Have a good understanding of your class and spec, and be prepared to listen to strategy and follow directions accordingly. Bring flasks, foods, oil, pots and occasionally runes.

Flexibility is a plus, and we do ask our raiders to maintain either two of their chosen class' specs, or one main and one alt. This to ensure that we can optimise our composition to suit the fight.

The team will help you gear, but it is your responsibility to know what gear you need, and to ask for help when you need it. Luckily, we've got anything from log lovers to spreadsheets addicts, any questions? Just ask!

What can you expect from us?

You can expect a team that likes a tight lead, has a competitive mindset, and works at keeping a good attitude throughout the raid.

Log analysis is a vital part of raiding for many of us, and while we all like popping off, we do mean that we use logs to analyse where we could improve our strategy in between pulls. "Move a little to the left" and "this works better" are a part of that, but as in any team sport we do aim to keep criticism constructive.

You can expect to be in a guild where you are accepted and treated kindly. Our officers' doors are always open and we listen to any ideas or issues you may have.

We handle loot via RCLootCouncil to be able to distribute gear as efficient as possible. This is a team sport to us, during progress gearing the team as a whole will always come before the shiny new slapper. That being said, we’re transparent in any loot decisions.
