“Steady” Guild

Steady is a guild on Area 52 Horde that focuses on pushing for Cutting Edge. Steady is comprised primarily of IRL friends, previous raiding friends, and the roster has been hand-picked to compete at the highest level. The majority of our roster has CE experience, and we are looking for more raiders ready to go steady at this level of raiding. This guild emphasizes pushing content by extending lockouts, bringing skilled players, and adding on raid days during the first few weeks of raid releases.

Raid Times
Main Raid - Tuesday/Thursday 8-11 EST
Push Raid - Sunday 8-11 EST
The guild primarily focuses on a 2 day schedule as we are all working adults, but due to our desire to push for CE each tier, we plan on pushing the first few weeks of a new raid with an additional main raid Sundays 8-11EST. After a few weeks, this alternate raid day will be used for heroic alt clears, sales, and testing new trials to the guild.

Expectations
Due to our desire to push CE content, the guild expects well above average performance in raids and keeping up on weekly tasks like M+. This does not necessarily mean logs are the tell all sign for DPS. Sometimes utility and the ability to perform mechanics correctly are the difference between a kill and a wipe.

Coming to a raid prepared will include some of the following:

Knowledge of the progression fight for that night

Gear gemmed, enchanted, and optimized for the type of fight we will be progressing (i.e. AoE, single target, potentially taking a talent that helps with that fight)

Consumables ready to go! Shadowlands has a lot of different consumables returning including: weapon oils, sharpening stones/weightstones, potions, etc.

Good attitude - while we are serious about progressing, we want this to be an enjoyable environment that people want to come to. Plus wiping is inevitable at this level of raiding. Stay light-hearted
