Hello from PG.
We're a raiding guild originally from Mal'Ganis, now on Drak'Tharon. We're always looking for good people who are also very skilled players. This is us:
- We're way too old. We're a day one guild, and we've matured a lot over the seven years. Most of us have jobs, many of us are married. In particular, we're too old to deal with drama.
- We're organized. This means that the guild is organized around a constitution and offices, not personalities. We distribute power between multiple offices--the GM is far from omnipotent--and we expect turnover in those offices.
- We're nice. You need to be nice too. This means no obscenities in /g or /vent, no trolling trade chat, no sexual harassment, racism, or personal attacks. No calling things "gay." We expect the same maturity in game that we expect at our workplaces.
- We're social. This isn't a get-loot-and-get-out guild. Be social. Expect to be posting on our forums a lot too--we've made over 100k posts!
- We're flexible. Real life comes first. We raid two days a week, Tues and Thurs from 8-11(Sometimes 12) Server time. In the past, we've sometimes had a third day on sundays. Attendance is never mandatory, though long absences will lead to removal from the raid team. The corollary is that is that sometimes too many people want to raid and we all sit it out sometimes.
- We care about progression. Despite this, and despite that we raid only 7 to 11 hours a week, we expect full dedication during raid time. Up to date knowledge, gems, enchants, and flasks are mandatory. Forum participation is expected, as well as participating in the post-game game log analysis. Performance is monitored and poor performance leads to removal from the raid team.
- Our loot system is currently out of date, and not really applicable to 10man raids. We are currently using a "Would the guy next to you be able to make better use of it" system. But as we recruit for our 25man team, we will switch to a more specific loot system.
Interested applicants should fill out an application on our website forums (registration required) or contact any of our officers in game.
Current Officers: Epsi, Therosian, Pizzatank
