Isomeric Shift

A Horde Raiding Guild looking for members to construct ten, and eventually twenty-five man core raiding groups to raid from 12 AM to 4 AM server time, Tuesdays - Thursdays. We will run other raids outside of these days, for alts and Achievement runs.

Gear Requirements:

Isomeric Shift is looking for skilled players of at minimum 5k gearscore. While we do believe that Skill > Gear any day of the week, 5k gearscore can very easily be obtained through a simple running of heroics. Also to note, if you don't have the tenacity to run heroics to become 5k gearscore, how can we expect you to have the tenacity to put in the time and effort to clear current content and their respective hard modes in even higher gear. Also, all applicants will be required to submit to a gear/spec check, by which we may ask you questions about why you did what with your gear, and potentially make suggestions that, if severe enough and not met, will result in your removal from the guild. We respect that there may be multiple gear itemization possibilities, as well as glyph and spec variations that are viable, we don't want an Unholy DK gemming spellpower so his diseases tick harder.

Raid Requirements:

We expect you to come prepared with the proper consumables, gems/enchants and professions, along with whatever else you may need to get the job done. Deadly Boss Mods, Omen and such are not concretely required from the start, however: if you're consistently pulling aggro or getting hit by something that you should be able to see coming, then it will become an individual requirement. Hopefully, a Fish Feast will always be provided, but don't go into a raid expecting it. There are other types of food that give buffs that are nearly an equivalent if not exactly an equivalent: so that is no excuse. Also, come with at least a neutral attitude. There may be some content that we have difficulty clearing at first. If you come in, we wipe twice and you leave without a reason: we will allow you to explain yourself. If your reason doesn't suffice, or we feel that you are lying, you will be removed. Also, you are expected to be completely repaired before a raid, but we won't kick you from guild because of it, verbal harassment is a near definite, however.

We also make use of the EPGP system of loot, once we get independent ten man raids going on without pugs. You can read all you need to about EPGP here: http://www.wowwiki.com/EPGP All raiders upon entering will be required to download the addon EPGP Lootmaster, located here: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/epgp_lootmaster.aspx

AFK Policy:

Everyone who has ever raided knows the curse of the AFK-ers. There will be designated breaks within the raid time itself, either after so many boss clears, or after a certain alloted time. However, we also understand that you aren't in school, nor are you children: things that are important sometimes happen randomly. In the case of which, the raid leader should be informed of the reason, either in raid or if it's more personal, in a whisper, and a time alloted until you return. If this becomes excessive, or you go AFK randomly, or we believe this is an excuse, you will be removed and we will either pull from the guild, or venture to trade chat to pug your spot. After several excessive, raid-hindering AFKs, you will eventually be replaced entirely. Also, if you wear the rank of "Raider", you are expected to be at least prepared to raid by raid time for every calendar date unless a reason is given. After you've violated this policy a few times, you'll be demoted to casual. Also, if you sign up for calendar raids (they all should be) and no-show excessively, then you will be removed without a demotion. Ventrilo isn't even in the realm of optional.

Age Policy:

Our raiders are required to be at least 16 years of age and mature enough to handle the sometimes immature subject matter that we may converse about. We're a raiding guild, this is a video game: not a job in the office. If you cannot handle the use of excessive swearing or potentially offensive discussion without acting like a fool, then don't apply.

Comprehension:

We don't require that our raiders had ever stepped inside Icecrown Citadel even once since they started playing, however, we expect our raiders to learn fights before hand, via youtube or other means. If you cannot comprehend something being told to you, often times accompanied by a video demonstration of how it is done, you will be removed promptly from the guild. Experience is a desirable, but not mandatory requirement for raiding: intelligence is a concrete must, and without it, you will not see a raid with this guild.

If you feel like you do/can meet the above requirements: then please apply.
