What we can offer you

- excellent, stable guild leadership with extensive real-world and in-game experience leading successful teams made up of diverse individuals. Real world leadership experience in military, medical, and business environments.

- end-game progression on a 2 night/week or 1 night/week raid schedule conducive to meeting family and job commitments while also raiding at the highest level

- a rage-free non-abusive raid team composed of mature adults committed to team success while also having fun together

What you can offer us

- Excellent skill at playing your class

- Continuous striving to improve your contributions to the raid team. If you believe that there is nothing you can do to improve and that you play your class perfectly, then you are probably both self-deluded and also not cut out to be a team player. The very best players are always looking for ways to fine-tune their play to improve the performance of their team as a whole, even if this results in lower personal performance on the meters.

- Consistency, especially on progression bosses. The importance of fielding a consistent team across many nights of work on a tough progression encounter is crucial for the team to develop routines and patterns that help to beat the encounter.

- Patience. There will always be encounters in which you personally master the mechanics quickly but other team members struggle. Being able to work together well with others to find a solution to the encounter that plays to the strengths of your raid team is a skill that will take you far, both in-game and in life.

- Positive, "can-do" attitude. Tone and attitude are much more important to a team's success than most people realize. Negativity at key moments can spread like wildfire and cause even very skilled players to adopt a fatalistic attitude and internally give up on a particular raid night. When we only raid 5.5 hrs (or 3 hrs) per week, we cannot afford to waste this time. No one likes a negative person or a whiner. We certainly don't.

Philosophy

IsoPaleoCopria (IPC) is dedicated to FOCUSED, LIMITED-SCHEDULE RAIDING. A secondary goal is to create a laid-back, fun-loving community where members can organize additional activities and enjoy the game together. We're a sanctuary for former hardcore players whose real-life progression into adulthood, careers, marriage, and/or parenthood just doesn't play nicely with a hardcore raid schedule. The desire to see the most challenging raid content and achieve success as part of a team dies quite hard, so we aim to do as much as we can within a schedule that allows.
