<String Theory> is a Horde guild on Mannoroth. We are a solid
group of committed raiders currently pushing into Firelands after
the guild shifted gears. We consider ourselves a competitive guild
and push people to earn their raid spots - as we only accept the
best.
Our raid times are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9pm to 1am server. We run a loot council and base it mostly on performance and attendance.
Currently:
12/12 Old Cataclysm Content
5/7 Firelands
We are currently full on most classes at the moment, however, exceptional applicants will always be welcome.
Requirements for applicants are as follows:
1. Know your class and specs inside and out.
2. Know all current content and have experience with it. We are currently only looking for people with a minimum of 12/12 Old Cataclysm Content experience.
3. We expect you to come to the raid prepared with knowledge and consumables and on time if not early (some consumables provided by the guild).
4. Be geared for the current content. We're not typically looking to gear out people, however, if your application is well thought out and intelligent and you are a bit ungeared, we will consider you.
5. We expect 100% attendance. We only raid 3 nights a week, 4 hours per night.
6. A positive attitude with the group as a whole in mind, not just yourself.
Should you be accepted you need to be aware that we keep a full roster with extra people to fill slots should people need to leave or are under preforming. We try to recruit members for the guild that will shine and compete with our current members. We DO NOT guarantee raid spots to anyone besides raiders who have earned their spot.
Also, as we do have extra people online substitutions will be made as to keep all our members as equally geared as possible. (i.e. what good is a back up tank with no gear to handle the encounters?) So, if you are the type to wine about loot or being sat here and there, please feel free to apply to a different guild.
