Recruitment
Current Needs
For current guild needs check the recruiting chart above. (This is the most frequently updated)
We are on the lookout for reliable and skilled players to join our raid team going for Legion progression. All class/spec combinations should feel free to apply! (Assuming you agree with our raiding policies which follow.)
Raid Nights
7:45 PM Eastern ~ Invites Begin
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM Eastern ~ Raid
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Attendance and Loot
Attendance will be taken each raid night.
If you are not online during invites, you will be marked absent.
If you refuse a raid invite for any reason, you will be marked absent.
If you are not inside the instance shortly after invites go out, you will be marked absent. This is because we expect you to participate in clearing any pre-boss trash from 7:50 to 8:00 so we can pull the boss on-time.
If you are on time but we have to sit you for whatever reason, stay on voice and have your raiding character(s) outside the instance in case we need you. If you are AFK when we need you to come in, you will be marked absent.
Attendance is important to us here at Synergic and so it affects your ability to receive loot and other rewards. Raiders who have reliable attendance with be prioritized for special loot like pets and mounts, but skillful play will also have an impact. Falling below 80% attendance means you are no longer a reliable raider and that anyone can challenge you for a position in the raid.
We use a Loot Council loot system. We have multiple metrics in place to determine where loot goes. We expect our raiders to know their stat weights and have a general idea of what loot might be BiS for them. We use the RCLootCouncil add-on to help with distributing loot.
PC Performance and Required Add-ons
We hold all of our raiding membership to a standard of expectations. Keep in mind that you are not only entrusting your raiding experience with us, but that we are entrusting our experience with you. We encourage all potential raiders to keep their PC performing well with as few lag spikes and disconnects as possible, as these issues can wipe us or halt the raid altogether. We require our raiders to keep a few raid-specific add-ons up to date. Versions are checked at the start of each raid week.

If you have concerns about running add-ons, or are not able to due to PC performance issues, don’t apply. It seems harsh, but this is how strongly we feel about this and how serious we are about progression.
Raiding Expectations
We expect our raiders to be dedicated, resourceful, trusting, and sometimes open.
Dedication - We are all about efficiency here at Synergic, so we expect you to show up to raids on-time, ready to focus on raiding, and with the best gems, enchants, and consumables. We also expect you to have reviewed materials about the fights we are going to be progressing on during that raid, these will provided beforehand either by the guild or we will link you to a Fatboss guide. You will have plenty of time to review so please come prepared. If you are going to be late or absent, you must let us know ahead of time so we can find a replacement to cover your role. In general, we need to be able to count on our raiders to show up everyday to efficiently progress through the tier, but we understand that sometimes specific stuff will come up IRL that must be dealt with immediately.
Resourcefulness – We expect you to know your class well and keep up with the changes to it; so having good resources (friends of the same class, blogs, “spreadsheets”, class discord, etc) is a must. We encourage you to be resourceful in-game by leveling professions and secondary skills to their utmost and leveraging those resources for raiding. (Highest stat foods, Crafted Gear, Gems, Enchants, Vantus Runes, etc)
Trust – Trust is a strange word to toss around in a game that for the most part is so anonymous, but we have our reasons for pointing this out. A perfect example is when the raid leader calls out for you to do a specific task in the middle of the encounter. If the raid leader needs something to be done they won’t have time to explain the reason why you need to move or use an ability in a certain way, your responsibility is to follow the call. Trust is very much a two way street. We trust that you have prepared for the fight and know what you’re doing, and we need you to trust in your fellow raiders and our leadership.
Openness – While not required to raid, it is a good policy in this game as well as in life to help others, especially your guildies. These are the people you will go through the fires of progression with and you should look to help each other as much as possible. As such we encourage our raiders and the guild as a whole to be open. There will be times where you or someone else in the guild needs help with a quest, dungeon, or achievement. Being open means that you are trying to help others just as much as or more than you are asking for help with these things. In the same vein, you should never feel obligated to do something that has a high cost to you like giving someone a dozen gems and enchants, those are things that raider should be handling themselves. (As covered in Resourceful.)
