We raid with integrity and people are held accountable for their actions.
We are not a hardcore raiding guild.
Founded in Vanilla on May 25, 2005, Destinys Bane is a Horde Guild on the Skullcrusher realm. We are on a connected realm with Black Dragonflight and Gul'dan, which is perfect for many, many alts. We are a fun-loving, tight-knit guild.
RAIDING WITH INTEGRITY
Expectations..
Raid Nights: Tues. & Thurs. 8:45pm - 12:00(EST)(Maybe a 3rd night TBD)
During Progression we sometimes open up Saturday Night as an option.. but it is never mandatory.
Real life always comes first, we are not a hardcore raiding guild. However, we ask that you please show respect for your fellow raiders by coming prepared, and communicating your absences or tardiness. Please also show respect to the officers by keeping voice coms clear. If you have a question or concern please take if up w/an officer in tells, preferably after the raid has ended.
Progression:
We typically start off w/Normal and Heroic clears, and quickly make our way into Mythic. Those who hope to raid should come thoroughly prepared. Its expected that you have fully researched your class and role in a given encounter. You should also have the necessary consumables, personal food, potions, and flasks.
While typically the officers try to prepare Guild Feasts and Cauldrons.. you should also have your own consumables ready as these expenses can get quite costly. Your gear should be enchanted (and w/Gems) appropriately, again officers will help where possible, but you should have everything in order well before the raid starts.
Who gets to Raid?
We try to bring as many diverse guild members through normal and heroic process, and will help provide you with coaching when needed. However, as we progress into Mythic difficulty, there will be much tighter tolerances for things like group composition and performance. This is where each member of the mythic group has to have some level of personal responsibility. (See Keys to Success)
Keep in mind that your performance and gear can be improved by building up your resources, and by actively working through higher level mythic keys. Much of the best gear in game is currently available through your weekly mythic plus cache.
We have several guild groups going throughout the week running high level mythic keys, members who do these runs try to prioritize spots to raiders. If you cant find a guild group, we recommend that you actively work to pug a keystone, or work a mid level key into a 10+.
Keys to Success:
Communication and Consistency are key especially for high end raiders. Its recommended that you have a solid microphone and are willing to speak when needed on certain encounters. A healthy level of humility, patience, and the ability to take constructive criticism are fundamental for progression. The same is absolutely true when it comes to raid attendance. In choosing who makes up the Mythic Raid, priority positions are offered to those who show have a solid track record of performance and attendance.
Optional Content:
Alt Raids, Fun Runs, RBGs, PVP, Warfronts, Transmog, Pushing High Level Keys all take place on various nights... usually on off nights.
