“Vanguárd” Guild

First and foremost, we are a NON ELITEST guild and do not tolerate anything of the such. We are creating an environment that is welcoming to all regardless of how well you play the game. We seek to teach rather than belittle.

We are a Heroic progression guild that focuses on achieving AOTC for each raid tier. We DO NOT actively push Mythic raiding content. We raid twice a week and expect our raiders to participate regularly and come prepared.

Requirements:
-Come prepared with flasks and pots
-Properly gemmed and enchanted
-Have proper addons installed and updated
-Respect others and the raid lead
-Work on gearing outside of raid
-Most importantly NEVER rage quit. You will be kicked from the team.

We don't require you to transfer servers, but it is nice to have raiders in the guild so we can gain the guild achievements in addition to our personal achievements.

We have been around since September 2018. We formed on Trollbane/Malfurion and have focused primarily on raiding and Mythic + content. We are looking to expand and incorporate a PvP section to the guild as well. We came to Illidan looking for a larger player base to help grow and expand the guild. We have ALWAYS put the player before anything in the game. The player, person, is the most important. We look to build relationships with those we meet and play with. This is a Code of Conduct we all follow and would expect form you as well:


Code of Conduct

-Self Improvement: This doesn't just stop with gameplay. This also refers to each individual as a person. Look at what you bring to the table and ask yourself what you could do better that would benefit everyone. Always be willing to learn, we don't know everything and never will. The minute we refuse to learn is the minute we become close minded and unwilling to work with others and improve ourselves.

-Be Accepting: Accepting individuals of varying skill levels is just the beginning. Be accepting of the people that surround you. We do not discriminate against anyone, all are welcome. Learn to tolerate and get along with others.


-Contribute: We expect people to honor any commitment they have made when accepting a roll within the guild. Whether this be an officer, raider, rated PvPer or anything else that requires a commitment to be fulfilled. The game should be enjoyed but not treated like a chore. With that being said, commitments should be fulfilled to keep things operating smoothly.


-Be Cool: Tone is difficult to interpret via text, everyone agrees to that. So if something is said, take a moment to determine whether you should take it personally or not. If you do, simply take the issue to an officer to have it resolved. Don't get frustrated. People with varying skill levels will be in the guild and groups. Wipes happen, mistakes happen and learning can take time. Be patient.


-Enjoy what you do: This is a game, we are here to have fun. Find a toon you really enjoy playing and work through the content with it, it'll be more rewarding. Find ways to help others enjoy the game as well. Be a friendly person building the environment we are creating and you will assist others with enjoying the game as well!


-Be Cooperative: Value everyone in the guild and value everyone you play with regardless of content. Whatever role you play, take pride in it and play as effectively as you can to assist the team in achieving the goal.


-Be Kind: Period.



What else the guild offers:

We do a weekly Mythic + night for the guild to help folks get a key done and push. We currently can run 14's and 15's and are working on pushing higher each week.

We do Transmog runs and old raid content.

We have a night set to do PvP activities.

We actively help and assist anyone who may need it with learning their class, working out sims or anything else that may come up.
