Distinct Advantage is a 20 man Semi-Hardcore raiding guild on
Alliance side Zuluhed. We are seeking players who enjoy, and excel
at progression. We are currently 13/13H in Hellfire Citadel. As a
guild, as well as individuals we intend to be a leading force for
Mythic progression on the Zuluhed server. Above all else we are a
friendly community with fair-minded leadership whose ideals are
built around teamwork, and camaraderie.
The most desired classes/specs are:
Monk – Windwalker - Mistweaver
Paladin - Holy
Druid – Feral - Boomkin
If your class is not listed above, it does not mean we will not consider your application. If you believe that your skill set will rival or surpass those currently on our raid team please feel free to submit an application. Please note that we are looking for strong players regardless of item level, and if you put the effort to learn, gear, and research your character then we are interested in you.

What we expect:
Attendance
When joining our team with the intention of progression raiding we expect everyone to show up for all raids on time, and hold at least a 90% attendance rate. If for any reason you cannot make a raid we ask that you give advance notice via our forums.
Teamwork
We are looking for players who are committed to operating as part of a team, who are capable of executing a given role properly, and who have the mindset that when performing these tasks within raid, it improves the rest of the team as a whole, thus contributes to our success and progression. They must be humble enough to know that EVERYONE has room for improvement. Constructive feedback is an important tool for any raid team looking to progress through heroic modes, and having members who embrace, as well as learn from it, is key to its overall success.
Skill
We expect players who have the ability to outperform their gear, as well as someone who is quick to pick up fight mechanics, without requiring a steep learning curve. We want players who love to rank and strive to do so.
Commitment
We want everyone to show up because they genuinely want to be there, not because they feel obligated to do so. Maximum effort should be exuded from the start of raid to the completion, and players should have a willingness to adapt their gameplay to new strategies during the course of an encounter. We are NOT a means to an end. We take a lot of pride in how close we are as a guild. Rage quitters need not apply.
Preparedness
Everyone applying should have a solid understanding of their class, its abilities, and how they fit into every raid encounter. All members should understand every encounter as if they were leading the team themselves. Our guild bank provides 3 flasks, a stack of potions and top food for the every raid.
Independence
Everyone in raid should not need hand holding for every little part of an encounter, and help should not only come from others, it should also come from yourself. You should expect that individual success will only come when you hold yourself accountable, and put in the hard work necessary to overcome any and all adversity we face as a guild.

- An officer core that is dedicated to the well-being of the guild and its members.
- A core group of players that are focused on progression and dedicated to each other, and the guild.
- A raid leader that has been leading for over 6 years, and has top 200 guild experience.
- A group of people that enjoy each other, as well as, the game.
