About us
SSRCG - Strictly Serious Recreational Casual Gaming is a community full of ex-competitive players from various games. Our community consists of full time workers who simply want to get together a few times per week and push ourselves as far as we can in raids. We are wanting to drastically increase our DPS numbers in the guild, as we have been blessed with a large number of core Tanks and Healers.

We are a casual guild in terms of play time, but we like to push ourselves and achieve as much as we physically can within our raid times. Don't feel scared however, if you are a new raider, we are more than happy to take you under our wings and help you to achieve your goals within the game.

What we offer

• The working man / woman's guild. We understand that people have lives and try to strike a balance between fun and competition.


• Experience. Quite a few members have "been there, done that" from various expansions, some as far back as Vanilla and not just WoW but other competitive games too.


• Friendly support. Not feeling quite ready but still want to join? No problem, our members will be more than happy to help in mythic dungeons to help you get that ilvl up.


• Collaborative resources. As you'd expect, we all contribute and everybody benefits. Feasts and flasks for all.

Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for DPS players, especially ranged DPS, to help us get closer to 20 player raid sizes. We expect to clear Heroic and earn AotC, and would love to push into Mythic and try and take down a couple of bosses. However, be aware that we are not a hardcore guild, and pushing into Mythic will still be done within normal raid times.
