“Bad Omen” WoW Guild

If our current recruiting doesn't match but you used to raid with us and you believe that neither Benita nor Arlena thought you're terrible (y/k!) then poke Arlena/Keine in game if you're looking for a raiding spot and we'll see if we can figure something out.

Bad Omen used to be a progression oriented 25-men guild. That raid group disbanded after finishing the first raiding tier of Cataclysm in the top 100 worldwide. Towards the end of Firelands some of the members of the 25 player raid have started to play 10 men, although this time with a more casual approach.

In Dragon Soul with our 9-12 hour/week raiding schedule and having a two week break between xmas and early january, we got a world 400th Madness of Deathwing HC kill.

Just to make it clear once again:
This is not the 25 men guild, we are a somewhat casual 10 men raid that includes mostly people that used to be in the 25 men raid including the raid leader, the main tank and a few others. While we won't raid that much as we did in the past, we still expect to clear all content in a somewhat reasonable time frame. Currently we are looking at three to four raids per week, starting at 8 pm server time and finishing at 11 pm.

Previous achievements of the 25 men raid group include lots of top 50 worldwide kills, including some top 10 kills (Al'ar, Lady Vashji, Kael'thas, Illidan) and one of less then 50 guilds that defeated 'Firefighter' before the massive nerfs hit the encounter. Most people in the 10 men raid were part of some or all of these kills, so the level of play is hopefully high compared to other guilds with a similar raiding schedule.

Bad Omen was created during the first days of vanilla WoW on the EU server Warsong. We migrated to Neptulon and from there to Dentarg. While there was obviously some fluctuation, the same raid leaders are running the guild since Naxxramas on level 60. With a reasonable raiding schedule in contrast to high end guilds, we have been constantly doing well and cleared all content before any major nerfs. I don't know how many guilds out there have been raiding at the top level since the release of Molten Core without any breaks, but it's not many and Bad Omen is one of them. There were no raiding breaks or merges since vanilla, we kept going.

Our progress in past expansions:

Top 30 EU Naxxramas clear on lvl 60
Top 10 on Al'ar (the original version), Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas
Top 10 on Illidan
Top 30 throughout Sunwell including M'uru and Kil'jaeden
Top 50-100 on most Ulduar hard modes, including:
Firefighter defeated as one of less then 50 guilds before the massive nerf
Top 70 on Alone in the Darkness
Trial of the Grand Crusader cleared world 30th
Tribute to Insanity a few too many weeks later
Tribute to Immortality multiple times
LK10 heroic with 10%, 52nd
LK25 heroic with 15%, 55th
