“Phoenix Society” Guild

About us: Phoenix Society (PS) is a raiding guild on Dragonmaw PvP EU Server. Our main goal is to have fun in the game with our friends and be a solid PVE raiding guild. We only recruit ACTIVE level 80 players. PS is a mid-sized guild with around 60 members, and we intend to keep it that way, we prefer quality to quantity. Maturity, politeness, helpful attitude and activity are what we need in this guild.

We are looking for:

* Players that have a lot of patience as well as determination.
* Players that don't quit when things get tough.
* Players that know how to play their class well in any situation and not rely heavily on specs.
* Players that know what is good for the guild and not only for themselves.

If you are allowed to join, you will be given a trial of 2 weeks. We will require you to raid with us or group with our members and officers. We will watch your behaviour and performance upon which we may decide to promote you to a full member or remove you from the guild. While on trail, you will earn dkp like everyone else, but you will not be allowed to spend them unless no other PS member wants that item.

What else we are looking for in a member:

* Activity: Attend at least 2 of our 25 man raids, of which we raid 4 times per week. THe 10 man raids are for fun and are not part of our guild raiding schedule, and as such you are also not guarenteed a place in them. Visiting our forum at least once a day is a MUST.
* Stability and Performance: We're looking for people who will be raiding cosistently and attend raids on dungeons that we have learnt and cleared many times. Players who don't AFK alot during raids and play their classes to the best of their ability.
* The ability to follow orders without question: We are an organised guild, we want you to get things done once you are told. Disrupting the raid leader's during tactics explanation is not acceptable. Being PvE orientated, we may request you to change your talent spec.

If you want to be a member, you MUST be able to raid with us. Spending 3 hours for a raid is expected. Bare in mind that raid spots are not reserved for anyone, we use a rotation system in all classes and we'll also decide on raid spots depending upon the boss we're aiming for. So, officers may have to decide who stays and who goes in some particular encounters, and you have to accept these decisions without complaint.

Raid Rules

Come prepared to a raid; this means you need to buy/make flasks, food, elixirs, pots, and all other raiding consumables. Your gear also needs to be updated with reccomended enchants and gems. If an officer spots that you haven't prepare yourself you won't get DKP for that raid. It's not really hard or expensive to make/buy these things. If everyone is prepared you are much stronger and it's a little bit easier to make progress. Also the tactics need to be watched otherwise the player won't receive DKP for the Boss.
Before Raid when the raid starts, or type an AFK message when you are coming back, so don't join a BG before the raid or go to a dungeon.
Don't whisper an officer asking about an invite because at that moment most of the officers are busy preparing the raid.
After getting an invite you need to move to the instance at once, dont expect a summon. Also you need to join our Ventrilo server and be at least able to listen and follow instructions given there.
If you have questions about anything ALWAYS whisper your class-leader, if he/she is not online whisper another class-leader.
Its also important that before new bossfights that you read up on tactics and maybe watch a movie for guidance.
You are also expected to join you class chat channel ingame. If you don't know what that is, whisper your class-leaders.
