Bridgeburners recruitment
Bridgeburners recruitment
Bridgeburners (www.bridgeburnersguild.net) is a high-end 25 man raid-guild trying to balance in-game progression with a nice atmosphere and a healthy raiding schedule. We are focused on tackling all of the raid content that Blizzard can provide in the 25 man format to experience all the challenges the game has to offer. We have a long and successful history being formed shortly before the release of the TBC and successfully tackled all raiding content that has been released since.
Cataclysm Raiding Progress:
Dragon Soul – 8/8 Heroic Mode
Firelands – 7/7 Heroic Mode
4.0 Tier – 13/13 Heroic Mode
We are searching for a few more players to join our adventures ready for the upcoming expansion.
We are currently recruiting:
2 Ranged DPS – Mage, Warlock, Priest.
1 Healer – Druid, Priest or Shaman
1 Tank – Warrior, Paladin, Druid or Death Knight.
In addition to the above, we are always looking for that exceptional player who seems just made for our guild, regardless of what class or spec he/she might be playing. So if you feel you have to be part of our vision, send in your application and tell us why we can't afford to pass on you!
Guild’s recent achievements include:
Realm First! Sinestra
Realm First! Nefarian
Realm First! Guild Level 25
Realm First! Working as a Team
Notable Wrath achievements include (all server firsts in 25 man format):
The Light of Dawn
Grand Crusader
Alone in the Darkness
Algalon the Observer
We do not raid every night. Our raiding schedule is maximum four days a week (CET):
Monday: 20:00 to 00:00
Wednesday: 20:00 to 00:00
Thursday: 20:00 to 00:00
Sunday: 20:00 to 00:00
Keeping our raid hours comparatively few lets our members prioritise raiding on these days and show up well-prepared, well-rested and eager to play, while still leaving room for arenas, battlegrounds, other characters or just relaxing and messing around. In addition to the official raiding (25man), we also have a very active -optional- offday event schedule with numerous member-organized events each week.
We have drawn on our experience through TBC and WOTLK to develop a DKP model that embodies fairness and rewards commitment. Bridgeburners employs a system where DKP earned and the cost of items acquired decays over a relatively short period. In effect this means all new members are on an equal footing to our founding members in a much shorter time than in many guilds. We ask our members to maintain at least a 75% attendance record (that is a member is expected to attend at least 12 raids per month), though most of our members have attendance above 90%.
About Us
This is the short version, go for the whole bit to: http://www.bridgeburnersguild.net/index.php?topic=5058.0. We believe in the principle of quality over quantity, both in terms of time spent raiding, and in the way we deal with our members. Our guild does not have a huge roster with a large pool of disposable raidfodder. Everyone in BB is here for the long run because they believe in our founding principles and because they enjoy the nice, drama-free environment where everyone cares about making the guild the best it can be. Make no mistake though, we are a raiding guild, devoted to beating everything the game has to offer, but in our own time and in our own way. We enforce such things as high attendance, consumable use, sensible division of equipment and efficient PvE specs during raids.
Recruitment - Does the above sound like a good fit?
Requirements are either gear and progression at roughly our own level, excellent knowledge of your class, ideally in all its possible roles and varieties, or a quick mind and a furious spirit with a character that clearly shows he or she can and will do everything to fit in and make themselves useful as quickly as possible despite being behind. All applications will be treated in confidence. You can find more information in the recruitment section of our forums at http://www.bridgeburnersguild.net. Please be sure to follow the guidelines in there if you decide to apply.
Contact information
If you have questions about anything, feel free to contact one of our officer team either on our board or in-game. Specific recruitment questions can be addressed to Celeus or Farm.
Officer team: Celeus (GM), Olog, Farm, Ripskins, Prue.
