Bridgeburners recruitment
http://www.bridgeburnersguild.net
Bridgeburners is a high-end raid-guild trying to balance in-game progression with a nice atmosphere and a healthy raiding schedule.
Current raiding achievements include:
Trial of the Grand Crusader (25 man) – Cleared, Tribute to Mad Skill (Server #1)
Algalon (25 man) – Cleared (Server #1)
Glory of the Ulduar Raider (25 man) – Cleared (Server #1)
We are currently recruiting:
1 Tank – (Warrior or Death Knight)
1 Melee DPS – (Enhancement Shaman, Death Knight or Rogue)
1 Ranged DPS – (Balance Druid, Elemental Shaman or Shadow Priest)
1 Healer - Restoration Shaman
In addition to the above, we are always looking for that exceptional player who seems just made for our guild, regardless of what class or spec he/she might be playing. So if you feel you have to be part of our vision, send in your application and tell us why we can't afford to pass on you!
Raids
We do not raid every night. Our raiding schedule is maximum four days a week (CET):
Monday: 20-00 to 00:00
Wednesday: 20-00 to 00:00
Thursday: 20-00 to 00:00
Sunday: 20-00 to 00:00
Keeping our raid hours comparatively few lets our members prioritise raiding on these days and show up well-prepared, well-rested and eager to play. While still leaving room for arenas, battlegrounds, other characters or just relaxing and messing around. In addition to the official raiding (25man), we also have a very active -optional- offday event schedule with numerous member-organized events each week.
We ask our members to maintain at least a 75% attendance record; that is a member is expected to attend at least 12 raids per month.
We have drawn on our experience through TBC and WOTLK to develop a DKP model that embodies fairness and rewards commitment. Bridgeburners employs a system where DKP earned and the cost of items acquired decays over a relatively short period. In effect this means all new members are on an equal footing to our founding members in a much shorter time than in many guilds.
About Us
Bridgeburners was founded at the start of TBC by members of several renowned high-end raiding guilds on Emerald Dream, who wanted a fresh start going into the new content. After finishing Sunwell as the top-ranking guild on ED, we are aiming to continue on and complete WOTLK in a similar style.
Most of our members are old-school gamers that now have a job, family or similar real life commitments, but still want to enjoy multiplayer gaming and its familiar sense of accomplishment. Many have gone through the hardcore 24/7 raiding phase, played the game at the highest level and are tired of the real-life sacrifices we had to make to stay at the top. We are now a little older (our average age is somewhere in the late 20s), a little wiser and we know what we want out of the game and how to go about getting it.
We believe in the principle of quality over quantity, both in terms of time spent raiding, and in the way we deal with our members. Our guild does not have a huge roster with a large pool of disposable raidfodder. Everyone in BB is here for the long run because they believe in our founding principles and because they enjoy the nice, drama-free environment where everyone cares about making the guild the best it can be. Make no mistake though, we are a raiding guild, devoted to beating everything the game has to offer, but in our own time and in our own way. We enforce such things as high attendance, consumable use, sensible division of equipment and efficient PvE specs during raids.
Recruitment
Does the above sound like a good fit?
Requirements are either gear and progression at roughly our own level, excellent knowledge of your class, ideally in all its possible roles and varieties, or a quick mind and a furious spirit with a character that clearly shows he or she can and will do everything to fit in and make themselves useful as quickly as possible despite being behind. All applications will be treated in confidence.
