“Rabidus Cattus Era” Guild

In the beginning of 2010 a few members of a guild on Xavius (EU) had become disheartened by the way their current guild was ran.

During March of 2010 a couple of members met up IRL in Amsterdam and during this time the idea of breaking away from their current guild and founding their own guild was discussed, with the secondary raid leader of the current guild leading this newly found guild.

Upon returning to their own homes after this meet these members started to discuss this idea with other potential members until finally on Wednesday 7th April 2010 after another dispute in their current guild, the secondary raid leader decided enough was enough and he and thirteen other raiding members left this guild and created Rabidus Cattus Era.

After some initial teething problems and a few weeks of recruitment Rabidus Cattus Era was up and running. They successfully cleared ICC 10 man hc and 10/12 hc on the 25 man difficulty, obtained Shadowmourne, completed the meta achievement for it's members and also managed to obtain the Europe first and World eleventh kill of Ruby Sanctum.

Due to the raid loot changes introduced in Cataclysm a decision was made to drop the raid team down to 10 man and the guild continued to be successful through the initial Cataclysm raids and the Firelands raid. During this time Rabidus Cattus Era merged with another guild on Xavius to look at returning to 25 man content. Towards the end of Firelands the guild decided to move to Frostmane (EU) and continued throughout Dragon Soul.

Due to irl reasons the guild leader of Rabidus Cattus Era could no longer attend raids and so Rabidus Cattus Era stopped raiding.

During MoP the guild leader began to raid again and kept in touch with previous members both in game and irl. Towards the end of MoP the old members decided to get the band back together and reform for WoD.

Now WoD is upon us and Rabidus Cattus Era is back together to carry on from where it was left off.

With members spanning from encounters over the last three expansions, with the same guild leader that founded the guild in 2010, it is clear to see that Rabidus Cattus Era is here to stay.
