“Friction” Guild

.: Guild Ethos :.

We are a guild that was recently formed from two core teams. We prefer to keep our raid rostra tight and small. This means that we expect our members to always be online for raids and show up for progress!

We pride ourselves on being competitive, this means we expect the most from our members. This doesn't mean we want people to be meter focused, we just want people who do their jobs within the raid and perform to their highest standard at all times.

We pride ourselves on community and game up-time!

Our aim is to be first on the server, If you do not share that goal, we do not want you!


.: Guild Rules :.

1. DO NOT FAIL.

2. Raids are every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 20:00 to 00:00
Invites start at 19:45 , be online at that time.

3. Raids will be scheduled on the calendar.
If you can attend the raid Accept the invite.
If you cannot attend the raid please post your reason on the forum and decline the invite.
Do not sign as tentative without making a forum post or sending an ingame mail to one of the officers. Doing so is equivalent to not signing and will result in -DKP

There will ALLWAYS be a raid on our raid days/times unless it is announced on gmotd. Just because there is no calendar event or for whatever reason you are not added to the calendar event is not an excuse to be offline

4. All players must bring their own flasks and food buffs. Not doing so will cause a -DKP.

5. You may not PUG any of the instances we are currently raiding 10 or 25man with the guild. Check the forum for the list of instances you may not pug. When we decide that a raid should become puggable so that we can focus on more difficult ones we will announce it on the forum.

6. All players must have DeadlyBossMods and Omen installed (or any other similar mods).

7. All players must be able to use Ventrilo,
All chat during the raid on Ventrilo will be in English.

8. All new players must undergo a trial period that covers at least 3 raids with the guild.
Being a member does not save you from guild-kick if your performance is not satisfactory.

9. Be respectful towards other players both inside and outside the guild.

10. You may not apply to other guilds while in Friction. If you wish to change your guild first leave then start looking.

.: Loot System :.

All 10 man raids will be on roll system with mainspec > offspec.

All 25 man raids that are NOT on the unpuggable raid list but may be done with the guild will be on roll system with mainspec > offspec.

All 25 mans done with the guild on our main raid days will be done via a DKP system. Look at our site for more details which can be found under the section of 'how to apply.'
