Ace of Spades is a guild founded in 2005 that is focused on end-game progression raiding, and since inception the leadership of Ace of Spades has always emphasized that quality is more important than quantity.

Raiding history:

WoW Vanilla: Cleared everything before TBC expasnion release

The Burning Crusade: Cleared everything up to Sunwell (Merged with another guild through Sunwell and cleared that aswell)

Wrath of the lich king: Cleared everything up to Trial of the Crusade including hardmodes,we then joined up with another guild and went casual.

Cataclysm: Cleared everything on hardmode and also got some decent world kills during this expasnion Tier11 (World 497) Tier12 (World 512).

Mists of Pandaria: This was the first expasnion where we pretty much stoped playing wow 3months into expasnion, but we still managed to get some decent world kills (Heroic Grand Empress Shek'zeer World 158,Heroic Amber-Shaper Un'sok World 248,Heroic Imperial Vizier Zor'lok World 278.)

We have also played Star Wars The Old Republic, and cleared everything that game had to offer.

Wildstar: 4/6 World 30

We raid 2days/week from 19:30-23:30, with invites starting at 19:15 sharp. (GMT+1)

Although attendance isn’t strictly enforced, we’re only interested in raiders that can commit to an 80% or higher raid attendance. We do understand that things come up, and we ask that you let us know if you will miss a raid. Above all, we're looking to recruit people who will remain with us in the long-term. A number of our members have been playing together for over five years and we strongly want to continue that trend.

Attitude and intelligence go a long way, and even if you can pump out insane DPS,HPS or TPS , if you can't carry on a simple conversation or if you talk down to the people we play with without offering genuine constructive advice, don't bother applying. Most of AoS members are in their 20's, but age isn't an important factor for us. If you can show up, perform well, and not act like a spoiled brat, it doesn't matter if you're still in high school or not. With that said, if you live under the constant threat of being grounded, or sent to bed early, then you aren't what we're looking for either.

Although applicants should be appropriately geared for current content, gear is largely a secondary concern to us. Rather, we are more interested in skilled players who are committed and dedicated to end-game raiding content and plan on continue playing. Raiding experience is expected, so we do require that you have at least a fair amount of experience in a raid environment. You should be familiar with any fights you've not yet done, including the ones we're working on.

We also happen to be extremely intolerant of drama. It has, undeniably, been one of the foremost reasons for the destruction of guilds. In accordance with our no-drama policy, if you are excessively whining, begging, fighting with others, flaming on message boards (including, but not limited to, our own) or doing anything that could damage the reputation of the guild, you will be warned. If you continue to disregard the warning, you will be promptly removed from the guild. Common sense is your best friend.

If you decide that AoS is the right fit for you, take a look at the application and spend some real time going over it. Run it through a spell-checker, make sure you've got punctuation where it belongs, and make sure it gives us an accurate picture of why we should recruit you. Applications that have obviously had little to no time spent on them with be dismissed out of hand. If you're not willing to spend 30 minutes to get into the guild, how can we expect you to put forth a good effort for 16 hours a week?

Requirements for a successful applicant are:

- Extensive knowledge of your class mechanics and raid encounters. You should know your own role and also that of your fellow raiders. You should understand all aspects of an encounter (tanking/healing/DPS) from an academic standpoint and from a practical point of view.

- Maximizing your gear to be ready for raiding.

- High attendance is critical, especially for learning new content. While we understand real life precedence, you should strive for 100% attendance.

- Stable internet connection. If you d/c every other pull, you won’t do us any good.

Please fill out the application thoroughly. Tell us who you are, what you think about your class, your philosophies on your role in the raid and how you meet our requirements. Give us a good idea why we should bring you into our ranks. It’s the best way to get our attention.
