**We want long term members, people that will be here when Icecrown releases and when the expansion hits. vodka is not going anywhere, we want members that will be part of our raiding core that won't go anywhere or quit in a few months. Everyone that joins will be an active raider, you will be given a chance to make yourself stand out and be a permanent raider in our roster.

All exceptional applicants are welcome, but to be considered you must have full experience with current end game content among other things we look for. These are all potential full time spots, you just need to be the type of player we're looking for.


vodka is looking to solidify our roster by opening recruitment to tanks that can potentially be our second full time tank. Right now we're making our DPSers tank and while that works, we want someone who enjoys tanking, theory crafts their gear based on the encounter, and is an overall active and dedicated raider. You must be able to work with our current main tank, being able to take criticism is a must.

What we're looking for

To be in our roster you must maintain high attendance (90%) any lower and you will not pass the trial phase. We try to keep a small roster so we need all our applicants and members to be here almost all the time ready to raid, 7pm to 1am. We understand there are events where a member cannot attend a raid, you will be allowed to take days off if necessary. However, being an applicant it is almost required to be here all the time.

We at <vodka> are only looking for long term members, we do not want players that will quit as soon as Wrath of the Lich King comes to an end. vodka is not going anywhere, we want members that will be part of our raiding core that will still be with us when we're raiding in Cataclysm. Everyone that joins will be an active raider, you will be given a chance to make yourself stand out and earn your raid spot. Understand that during progression we will do whatever is necessary to make the encounter we're learning as easy as possible, if you cannot handle being sat out for a fight do not waste our time. Please know we are very fair with how we handle sitting out certain classes, everyone will see equal raid time whether it's progression or not.

Applicant Requirement

Being very vocal in vent if you play a critical role is what we like to see. We like applicants that know how to communicate on vent while doing their job. Overall being a good player and learning to get to know the guild beyond the raids, trying to know the guild as a whole whether it's pvping or socializing in game or in ventrilo - anything. The last thing we want is a raid logger.

Any raid you get into whether alt raid or main raid will affect how the officers look at you. Performing terribly or exceptionally well in any raid you get into will make you stand out, none of our raids are joke raids and we still expect you and everyone else to perform well. As stated before we take raiding seriously despite how easy the encounter is.

vodka is a guild that consists of the types of players that are highly competitive, pre-potting is a daily thing in our guild. Our damage meters change dramatically depending on the fight, no one person is ever last on damage all the time, everyone knows what they are doing and we're all capable of setting(or breaking) records posted on Wow Meter Online and World of Logs. Our ideal applicant has to be very competitive player as a whole, when you get beat you have to look for ways to improve. You have to be intelligent, every member of vodka min/maxes their gear to the best possible and if you currently do not do whatever it takes it will not take long before the officers realize you are not the type of player we are looking for.

About <vodka>

Maintaining a solid team atmosphere is very crucial to us, we like to socialize during raids and off raids. vodka members all know one another, we do not consist of a bunch of cliques, instead the entire guild is a whole - no one is left out. Regardless of our close-knit atmosphere we have no problem welcoming newer members to our guild and making them feel like they are part of the team. Our guild takes raiding very seriously, we do not like wiping on anything. We use consumables for any and all raids we go to, we expect all applicants to be this prepared as well.

Schedule and Attendance
vodka raids always start at 7pm EST and last until 12am during farm content. During progression we will raid as late as 1 to 2am. During progression we raid 5 or 6 days a week, very rarely will we raid 7 days a week. After progression is all done we will be raiding very relaxed with a couple days off until new content comes out. If you cannot commit to this don't waste your time.

The following is our schedule, it is possible that raids will be extended to 1:00 am if absolutely required.

Tuesday: 7:00pm - 12:00am
Wednesday: 7:00pm - 12:00am
Thursday: 7:00pm - 12:00am
Friday: 7:00pm - 12:00am
Saturday: Off day(subject to change)
Sunday: 7:00pm - 12:00am

As you can see we take Saturdays off. However we still expect all members to be able to attend raids on this day if we schedule it ahead of time, we will only be raiding Saturdays if required for progression. If you cannot commit to this do not apply. We require all our members to let us know in advance if they cannot attend a raid, failure to do so can result in removal.

Loot

vodka now awards all loot via loot council. We distribute loot based on many factors, including raid attendance, seniority(how long you've been in the guild), and previous loot received. Our old DKP site is still being used to track all loot received by our members so all loot decisions are fair. We recently made a rule that required all members to maintain 90% attendance over a 60 day time line.

Our goal is to put the loot where it will best serve the guild from a raid progression standpoint, we do not punish members for taking items that are not their best in slot but still a fairly decent upgrade. We place a high value on loyalty and attendance, and tend to award the best items to individuals that have proven themselves to be trustworthy and reliable.

Application Process

Our applicant process normally lasts about four weeks. However, it can be extended under certain circumstances. To fully test our applicants, we will always give them one of the hardest jobs in the raid.

Expectations

We expect all applicants to be able to maintain close to 100% attendance during their trial period. We expect all members to maintain 90% attendance life time.

We want you to want to be in our raids, and we will invest in you as much as you invest into us. As a guild, vodka strives to be the best. We expect our raiders to know as much about a fight before even stepping into the instance.

Activity:
vodka leaders always strive to look for active recruits, this guild is a community, people in this guild all know one another. This guild is very active, guild members are on throughout the day, whether raiding, playing their alt, or doing random things. We want all members and applicants to be apart of the guild and not just be another person that logs on to raid, we do not like raid loggers.

Stability:
The people in vodka enjoy playing the game and we want to recruit like-minded players that also enjoy the game. <vodka> has been around since level 60, while it's not the same guild nor is it under the same leadership - we can guarantee you that, in our opinion, vodka is in the best shape it has been since this guild was first formed. vodka has little to no turn over, our roster for Icecrown Citadel will consist of the same people we ended Ulduar and cleared Trial of the Grand Crusade with.

Leadership:
<vodka> is run by a core of Officers, it's not one person running the show. When a decision is made it means that several people talked it over and had their opinions on the decision. Every officer does their part to help and run the guild. Know that we are all fair and understanding people, we know how to treat our guild members.

Roster:
Only the players we feel fit into the guild personality-wise, are excellent and active raiders are promoted to raider status. The type of players you will find in vodka excel in their class to the fullest potential, are very knowledgeable about their class and the game as a whole.

Once you are promoted to member in <vodka> your raiding spot will be secure and we will close recruitment for that specific class. However, if you continue to play horribly, or not care about raiding -- we will talk to you privately and tell you to change the attitude or actions will be taken.
