ABOUT US:
<Light of Dawn> is a Horde Raiding guild on Arygos/Llane-US. Our Goal is to continue achieving AotC, and to push as far into Mythic Progression as possible within our six (6) hour raid schedule.

GUILD ENVIRONMENT:
We are mostly laid back, professional adults who accomplish a great deal in little time. Most of our members fall somewhere between early 20s and late 30s, although we have a few outliers. Regardless of age or affluence, we enjoy the camaraderie we share, and thoroughly enjoy playing the game together, nearly daily. With that, we are not interested in players that only login for raiding. We like to think that we are a very social guild, one that has very strong players with varying levels of raiding and mythic+ dungeon experience. We strive to avoid “second job syndrome”, opting instead to advance at our own pace. If top 100 and Cutting Edge is what you are after, we are not that. Nevertheless, we will clear Heroic, earn AotC, advance as far as we are able in Mythic, and maintain our common goal – progression while content is still relevant.

GUILD HISTORY:
<Light of Dawn> was formed on 5/1/2018, and shortly thereafter began casual raiding toward the end of Legion. We added exceptional players during Antorus progression, and cleared normal, which, at the time, was more than we set out to achieve. <Light of Dawn> gained a significant amount of strength during the lead up to Battle for Azeroth, primarily via addition of even more exceptional players, and an increase in raiding hours. Throughout our first full expansion, we rapidly evolved from a collection of likeable misfits into a full-on heroic raiding guild. Today, we humbly maintain our place as one of the top Horde raiding guilds on Arygos/Llane.

WHAT WE EXPECT:
- Loyalty, motivation, and skill
- You must have thick skin – accept constructive criticism - change if needed. We are not a PG guild. To that end, you must be able to take a joke (making fun of each other occurs frequently during progression).
- You must be properly geared: traits/sockets/enchants/etc.
- You must have a desire to not only complete heroic content, but master it (this includes embracing the suck that comes with learning the encounters)
- You must commit to our team, and make a concerted effort to attend all raids.
- You must dedicate yourself to our raid times, and minimize distractions/AFKs.
- You must be team orientated, and goal focused.
- You must not be a “negative Nancy” – no one is out to get you.
- You must instantly and willingly follow directions, and ask questions later if you need clarification.
- You must be self-reliant – this includes having your own flasks, potions, raid-appropriate food, materials for enchants, gold for repairs, etc. – however, the guild provides most of these for Marauders (Veteran Raider Rank), so it is encouraged that you deposit requisite materials in the guild bank to assist
- Although we don’t require our raiders to maintain multiple classes, you should possess a respectable level of understanding, if not mastery, of your selected class’ specializations – all of them. You should be willing to play any specialization that the raid needs for a given encounter.
