ABOUT The Band

The Band is a raiding guild that is looking to change from a casual raiding guild into a heroic progression guild. We are filled with solid players who love to have fun and raid, and are very social. Earlier this year we experienced a change in leadership when the old GM kicked most of the members in the guild before transferring servers. While I was able to track down the members that were removed, most of them had moved on before we could put the guild back on track. We may be short on players at the moment but we do not lack the drive to get things done.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

Raid Expectations: (For Battle Of Azeroth)
1. Raid Consumables-
You will be required to bring your own flasks, potions, and food. The guild bank will pay for all guild repairs while raiding, however in the start of the expansion we will not have cauldrons to provide flasks. So please make sure to bring some of your own to raids.

2. Performance-
You need to be competitive on par with yours peers. There is a learning period for classes and this is understandable, however you will be expected to know your class enough to do the minimum required dps at least.
The includes everything from Parses, Mechanics, Consumables, If you are consistently parsing low, failing at mechanics, not using consumables you are not meeting performance expectations.
3. Attendance:
We raid the every time every week, you got to show up, real life happens, but you joined saying you wanted to raid, so show up. If your tired of the game just say so, but be aware if you are wanting to take a break because of roster issues, you become part of the problem.

4.Attitude-
Don't be a ass, you are working with other PEOPLE to achieve a goal, You are in a group and it will only get stronger if YOU help the group. That includes meeting expectations and helping others meet expectations.


REQUIREMENTS

- Previous raiding experience.
- Stable schedule and ability to attend most raid days.
- Experience with add-ons such as Deadly Boss Mods (other class-specific add-ons may also be required).
- Discord voice chat client installed.
- Stable internet connection and a reliable computer (regular lag, graphic issues, or crashing is not acceptable).
- Ability to handle constructive criticism and be a team player.

RAID SCHEDULE

The Band raids Tuesdays and between 8:30pm and 11pm Eastern Time EST. Raiders are expected to attend every raid or post in the scheduling forum in advance of absences. In The Band we understand real life happens, our philosophy has always been RL > WoW. While we understand that RL issues happen, we ask that you get in contact with either the GM or an Officer if you are not going to be able to make a raid or raids.
