Guild Profile

Primary Language: English
Raids per week: 1
casual
Recruiting (outdated): closed
History
---------
Low Caliber is a 10 man guild created on August 11th, 2011. Our leadership comes from a background of being in top World and US guilds at multiple points in the history of the game.

Objective
------------
We plan on being a true progression guild. We do not aim to carry players based purely out of loyalty or friendship, not to say we do not aim to have a friendly atmosphere in our guild. Players will be given a fair shot at earning a raid spot and must continually prove themselves in both commitment and skill in order to achieve said position.

Schedule
-----------
Friday: 7-Whenever the fuck we want pm Server Time (MST)

Although we do sometimes raid an extra day for fun stuff or to clean up an instance this is EXTREMELY rare, we do not employ the Vox Radix "3 day raid schedule" which is actually a "raid 3 nights a week and choose doing difficult progression bosses over easy farm content" schedule. HOW DARE THEY!

Loot Distribution
--------------------
Loot is simple to distribute in a 10 man guild and will not be overcomplicated. A small group of players can easily distribute loot to where it is best utilized.

What We Are Looking For
------------------------------
Currently we are looking for a few things. We are looking for a new Main Tank (Warrior or DK) and to add a Shadow Priest to our raiding roster. We are also taking applications for a Shaman with the ability to play both a healing and damage spec well.

The ability to play multiple characters/specs is a huge plus and increases your chances of acceptance.

We are always taking applications from exceptional players as we greatly enjoy competition amongst our raiders. Please check the "Recruitment Status" on our website to view immediate openings in our raiding roster.

Facts About 10 Man Raiding
-------------------------------

1. It is far easier to find 10 good players than 25. Duh!

2. 10 mans are NOT harder than 25. The only similarity between the two are the names of the bosses.

3. Fight mechanics are easier in 10 man raids as they generally become more difficult to overcome with a larger raid composition.

4. Low Caliber compares ourselves to other guilds on a 10 man level. Comparing ourselves to 25 man guilds would be like comparing a JV team to a varsity team. It's embarrassing to think otherwise.

5. Guilds that start up with 25 man aspirations and change to 10 man are:

A. Throwing in the towel.
B. Admitting that it's a lot harder to organize and raid 25 man instances.
C. Have a moron for a guild leader.
D. All of the Above.

6. The best guilds in the world earn their reputations through 25 man raids, not 10.

7. Most of the good players in the wow community would agree with 1-6 and if you do not, you are probably a delusional 10 man raider.
