About Our Guild:

Shadow Warriors was born at the beginning of The Burning Crusade as a working person's guild and has maintained a steady and balanced raid force since. A typical member is in their 20s or 30s with a full time job, and maybe a spouse and child, but we are willing to accept people of any age as long as we realize they are mature and stable. We are serious about our schedule - our raids start promptly at 7pm and end promptly at 11pm without exception.

Our leadership is democratically elected in 6 month cycles. We like the fresh faces that this brings in and allows opportunities for burned out leaders to step back seamlessly. Our DKP system has been in use since tier 4 and has provided drama-free loot distribution for the life of the guild. Our DKP site and raid history is publicly visible on our website (http://www.sw-guild.org).

Our guild consistently aims to be the best 3-night guild available and we've done a pretty good job so far. As an established guild we have established attendance so we never have canceled raids. We typically have 3-5 people on standby who are rotated in a fair and open manner. Members who maintain 100% attendance with good performance are typically not subbed out.

We have a very active private forum and many non-raiders in the guild. Friends of members are welcome to share the guild tag as well as members who have decided to stop raiding. Our recruitment spots are typically offered to non-raiding members before they are open to the public.

Our guild bank provides fish feasts, free gems, half AH price enchanting materials, speed and wild magic potions, resist gear, and repairs for Full Raiders. Our gold pile is growing so further benefits will probably be offered.

We are not a PvP focused guild but we have had a couple of teams rated at the Duelist level during every arena season. If you are interested in PvP you shouldn't have a problem finding competent partners in our guild.

The humor in our guild is typically PG-13. Any NSFW links on our forum are clearly marked. There is some adult language in vent but nothing extreme. Our raid leaders do not publicly humiliate people for making mistakes but we work with all of our members individually to improve performance. In the case of consistent poor performance trials are asked to leave the guild and members are asked to stop raiding.

About You:

Personality is the number one trait - we want you to fit in and get along with our members. You should be able to maintain our raid schedule at near 100% attendance. If you need to be absent for a raid or take a vacation we expect you to let us know as soon as you know.

You need to be competent with all aspects of your class. We rarely force respec's but in extreme circumstances you should be able to fill any raid role that a member of your class can fill.

You'll need to use four flasks at every raid regardless of the content. We will provide most potions and feasts, but you should also have 20 Mana/Health potions and a stack of food buffs available at all times.

Your gear should be at or better than Ulduar 25 level. You must have the best enchants and gems on/in your gear at all times. Please do this before you apply - that is the first thing we look at.

Thursday: 7pm-11pm CST
Sunday: 7pm-11pm CST

(10 man raids are loosely run @ 7pm M-W-F)
