<Solaris> (http://www.weareimba.com/forum/) is looking to fill out a few spots in our 10M group.
What we're looking for:
We at Solaris are only looking for long term members. We want members that will be part of our core and that will be with us for the long haul. Everyone that joins will be an active member, and you will be given a chance to make yourself stand out and earn your raid spot. Understand that we will do whatever is necessary to make the encounter we're doing as easy as possible, and what that means is raid stacking. Despite that, everyone will see raid time.
Our guild as a whole are all understanding people, we know people have bad raid nights. One night of mishaps doesn't mean we will remove you. When you join our guild we will treat you as an equal and will continue to do so throughout your trial period until you show us that you are not fit for our guild, which we hope won't be the case.
Our raid schedule is as follows:
Tuesday - 9:00pm EST to 12:00am EST
Wednesday - 9:00pm EST to 12:00am EST
Thursday - 9:00pm EST to 12:00am EST
Loot:
During progression we award all loot via loot council. We distribute loot based on many factors, including raid attendance, seniority, performance, and previous loot received. Our goal is simple, to put the loot where it will best serve the guild from a raid progression standpoint, we do not punish members for taking items that are not their best in slot but still a fairly decent upgrade. We place a high value on loyalty and attendance, and tend to award the best items to individuals that have proven themselves to be trustworthy and reliable.
*These will not be bench spots, you will be in every single raid and expected to show up nearly 100% of the time.
Our Expectations:
We expect all members to maintain a relatively high attendance and to perform well (damage/healing, target swapping, raid awareness, specific fight mechanics, etc). We understand there are situations where people can't raid, and that is completely understandable. If we expected everyone to be here 100% of the time we would only have a handful of players in the guild. You can miss an occasional raid, it just can't be happening so much that it's a gamble if you're planning to show up.
We also want you to want to be in our raids, and we will invest in you as much as you invest into us. As a guild, Solaris strives to be the best we can be. If you are coming in for a boss and you are confused with the way we execute it you are better off asking questions than going into a fight not knowing what to do.
Being a good player and learning to get to know the guild beyond the raids, trying to know the guild as a whole whether it's pvping, talking on mumble, doing something in game, playing another game (SC/SC2, LoL, DoTA, Diablo) - anything. We are very big on guild community.
